I haven't tried any of those with my LO yet. I'd guess when they had molars.

The nuts and seeds probably around 18 months. I know that they can get stuck in throat and cause infections in little ones, and they can't communicate whats going on.
I gave him raisins and other dried fruits around 10 months or so, but he had a lot of teeth.

Thanks for the input guys. LO only has two teeth at almost 11 months, but I bet he could handle raisins and cranberries

I think you'll be able to tell. My LO couldn't do any of those right now with 8 teeth and 14 months. Maybe a really soft raisin or cranberry. I just started giving him dried fruit.

My kid only has two bottom front teeth, so she's had pieces of raisins, like in a piece of raisin bread....but no nuts. Just peanut butter

DD is 15 months and has 8 teeth, and her ped still says nuts would be a choking hazard. I'm guessing the same would go for seeds. She LOVES raisins. I started giving her Plum Organic Tots fruit snacks (they're dried purees) when she was about 9 months (4 teeth), and I moved to raisins/cranberries when she was about 12-13 months (and had added 4 more teeth).

We give her raisins occasionally....but I just learned that they are a choking hazard. I had no idea. Oops. I guess maybe I'll try to give them to her one at a time so she can't squish them into a giant death ball?
we haven't given her any nuts or seeds, but hadn't really thought of it. she eats a ton of peanut butter.

I think most of those things (not sunflower seeds) would be more an issue of choking than allergies. I give DD peanut butter and I put almond meal in all sorts of things for her, but I don't think she could handle full nuts or raisins because she only has 4 teeth.

LO is 12 months old and the only one I've tried is raisins. He didn't really like them. We'll try again in a few months, I guess.
