It took 8 weeks for me to start even liking it. It does get easier, hang in there!!

I pump after my first and last breastfeedings, this way my husband can feed him while I take a break. Daddy does love his bonding time too! In the middle of the night I used pumped milk to bottle feed since I was too tired to fight with breastfeeding for the first 6 weeks or so.

@JustlikeHeaven: typically I would pump before going to bed around 11pm, get up a couple times in the middle of the night to feed the beast, then at some point in the morning would pump again (like 8ish).

That routine still works pretty well for us, but now he feeds every 3 hours during the day and sleeps all night. Every baby is different, and it will take some time to find your stride. It really does feel like they are eating all. the. time. Taking it day by day helped me, make it through today, make it through tomorrow- seriously it does fly by after a bit. When they start to get a little more head control it gets a lot easier.
