With M we were told to wait until after 1 year, and we did. She didn't like them, and still doesn't.
C had her 9 month well check this past week and her ped told us to go ahead and give eggs. Apparently studies have shown allergists that it isn't as big of an allergen any longer.
When did you/will you introduce them?

We do the yolk not the white, at 6 months they gave her gas, now we eat them lots at 11 months. 9 mos. sounds good for yolk!

I didn't know it was an allergen until after I gave them to her! But we did egg yolk around 6 months & she had a whole eggs once around 7 months. Now at 8 months she seems to spit up a lot with the yolk so I stopped giving it to her

I was totally searching this this morning as well! Unfortunately e fell asleep and kinda skipped past breakfast. Maybe we'll try it for lunch or dinner. I think I scared myself into doing yolk first.

Those of you who introduced egg before 1 year... How did you cook it? I'm thinking hard boiled and then mash the yolk with some water or breastmilk?

We did scrambled eggs at 10 months, but he had issues with the texture and spit them up frequently until just past a year.

I think around 7 months. We just did scrambled. He loves eggs now at 10 months!

LO had a dairy sensitivity so we waited on eggs too, to be cautious. She was tested for common allergens right before her first birthday and had no allergies so we introduced them right after. She loves scrambled eggs and hard boiled.

I did scrambled first, in chunks big enough for her to pick up and put in her mouth.

One of his first foods was scrambled eggs just after 6 months. He still loves them at 18 months.

Probably around 6 months but mostly yolk for a while. I believe it's the egg white that is usually a concern, but it sounds like not anymore?

Pretty early on, maybe 6 months? She had scrambled egg this morning (10 months) and wolfed it down!

@sarah.clarisse: the first time I gave her eggs, at 7m, I hard boiled and scooped out the yolk. Then I mixed it with BM. It looked disgusting and she didn't like it.
At 9m, eggs are not a staple but if we are eating scrambled eggs or an omelette she'll get some too. My doc said we could do whites too.
@Anagram: our doc gave us the go ahead to peanut butter this week. LO is in love. Definitely her most fav food yet!

We did whole eggs at 6 months. Never had any issues and she LOVES them.
