at my DS' daycare, they offer juice with the kids' afternoon snacks...we've only given my 18month old WCM and water (the age range in his classroom is 18months - 2 years).
what age did you introduce juice to your LO?

Still haven't at 20 months. I see no real reason to give juice, since I worry that once Lo tries it he won't drink water anymore!

@hilsy85: that's the main reason i don't want to give him juice either...lol

I let my 2.5 year old drink juice at birthday parties....every few months.

I let my 2 year old have diluted juice at supper. He's on zantac and it disguises it well and we haven't had any problems with him not wanting water anymore.

We started giving prune juice at a year because she gets severely constipated. She doesn't really ask for it but she'll drink it when we give it to her.

My 20 month old has had some sips of our orange juice recently but otherwise we don't give it yet!
I'd be fine with it occasionally but also (like you guys have already posted) don't want him to quit water and only want juice.

E's 14 months and had some at her grandma's house....(diluted POM juice)....and wasn't very interested in it. She's a mostly water drinker, but if i have iced tea in a cup, I'll give her a couple sips. She drinks plenty of water (and so do we), so I don't see it becoming an issue.

Almost 3 amd she's had juice once. Her dad gave her a sip of his. I don't think a little juice would hurt.... but I know she'd want it all the time.

We give watered down juice starting at like 17 months, the only reason being she was having some pooping issues, and it helped soften it up. She doesn't get it very often.

LO is 19 months and we give apple juice- the no sugar added kind- every once and awhile. she still loves water and milk though.

LO is 18 months and we haven't given her juice - and don't plan to anytime soon.

I'm the minority. DS gets diluted juice once a day usually. We started around 18 months. He still drinks his water and milk every day.

We introduced it after age 2, apple juice. He asks for it occassionally, so I don't mind giving it to him when he does.

I give my 2.5 year diluted grape juice, and I mean very diluted. I buy the no high fructose corn syrup kind. The only time I give undiluted is if she's been in contact with someone who has a stomach bug.
