I still have R in a high chair or clip on chair at the counter most days. Tried him in a booster the other day and he loved it though! I just hate the idea of him getting the dining table so grubby! He's 15 months.
When did you switch the toddler to a booster seat?

I think it was closer to his second birthday, but one day he refused the high chair and wanted to sit in a chair. We compromised with the booster and he's been in it since! I was proud of him for making the step himself- who knows how long I would have kept him in the high chair!

She's used the booster intermittently since 12 months and I think she eats better when she feels like she's really at the table with us. We're planning to make a permanent switch this weekend (19 months) by putting away the high chair. I'm getting way too sick of cleaning all the nooks & crannies! Our kitchen table doesn't have a tablecloth or anything complicated to clean though - I just wipe down the table and can rinse the booster in the sink if it's really dirty.

Our dining table would still be a bit high for K if we turned our high chair into a booster; so she's still in the stand alone high chair. Sometimes we take off the tray and pull her up to the table. She's 15 mo.

Some time around a year. I hated the messiness of the high chair. I think we're going to totally skip it next time. The booster is so much easier to clean up.

Before a year. He was in the Stokke at the table. Way easier to wipe down the table versus a high chair.

We still use our high chair daily (3+ years old). We also have a booster that he uses occasionally. He loves his high chair and it's so easy for us because he still can't get out on his own.

He was closer to 3 when he just started refusing the high chair and has been in a booster since
