LO is almost 6 months and seems ok with the sippy cup so far for the 5 times I've tried to give her a tiny bit of water. When did you start offering a cup every day?

@Andrea: did you still give breastmilk/formula by bottle or sippy cup from there on out?

@autumnlove: DD was on formula by then and she got it in the bottle. Only water went in her sippy.

6 months with solids. We tried to get him to drink an ounce of water with every "meal." Just water in the sippy, never water in the bottle and nothing else in the sippy until 12 months when we got rid of all bottles and went to cow's milk/rice milk in the sippy.

I started late. Didn't give her a straw sippy until she was 10-11 months old.
