I switched to a medium flow nipple around 6 months. She took around 12-15 ounces at daycare and nursed in the evenings.

I never switched - at 11.5 months DD is still drinking from the Dr. Brown's Level 1 nipple. At 6 months she was drinking 12-14 ounces/day while I was at work, plus nursing at least 3-4 additional times/day.

I don't think it really matters (Mrs. Jacks told me so when I wondered).

It depended on the bottle. On the Platex VentAire, she had to move up to the medium flow at I think 4 months? She was taking 20-30mins to finish a bottle. Now though she's on the Tommee Tippee bottles and still on slow flow because she finishes the bottles in less than 10mins and it doesn't give her gas, so I have no motivation to move her up.

She's on formula, but she takes six 6oz bottles right now.

Still using size 1 at 10 months. She was drinking 5 ozs at 6 months. Both formula and BM.

LO is almost 7 months and still on level one. I put 6 oz in his bottle but he doesn't always drink it. He drinks anywhere from 4-6 oz usually, but sometimes cries for more at bedtime and will get 7-8oz.

never switched from the 1s and then 2s that came with our lifefactory bottles. she takes a bottle with a 1 with no problem.

Never switched. 9.5 mo and still using size 1.

We switched at around 6 months. She normally drinks 12-15 oz of pumped milk each work day and nurses a few times before/after daycare.

We haven't switched either. Sadie's just about 11 months, and still doing fine with the slow flow. We're going to try to switch to milk in the next month or two, so we won't worry about switching. What kind of bottles do you use? I have 4 TT level 2 nipples that we won't use!

We never switched. Even with the slowest flow nipples, Xander still can drink from a bottle faster than the boob and I didn't want him to start preferring bottles over nursing. 10 months and we're still using the size 1 nipples.

we switched to faster flow - first around 3 months then again around 6 months. DS would get really distracted and frustrated with the slow ones.

Never switched. At almost a year, he's still using the NB flow nipples in our Tommee Tippee bottles. And at 5-6 months, we were sending in 5.5 or 6oz bottles (3 per day).
