I think we are finally done. It's been a slow process but LO is 10 months old tomorrow and my supply has finally given up. (I had a fabulous supply but now have been only feeding morning and night for 4 months). He seems to be mostly OK with it although still tries to nurse sometimes. I'm worried about bottle weaning now though since I never had to deal with that with my son as he nursed until 13 months and then just weaned to cups.

I'm slowly working on it now. I dropped from 4 sessions to 3 on Monday and DD responded by dropping from 2 naps to 1!
I'm planning to drop a session at the beginning of each month until we're done. That will put DD at almost 16 months. It's been my plan since the beginning. Now that I'm doing it I'm feeling kind of sad about it though!

We weaned at 14 months, at that point he was just nursing at night- before bed and once/twice overnight. What a blessing to cut out the MOTN feedings!
I think we may have given a bottle at first to replace nursing, but quickly switched to sippys. -
It was super gradual. At 13 months, we weaned from all sessions except morning and evening. At 17 or 18 months, we weaned the morning one. And at 27 months, we finally dropped the evening one.
We also had to deal with bottle weaning since she had been taking bottles at daycare starting from 3 months. It was honestly harder to bottle wean than wean from nursing. I think we bottle weaned around 15 months but she wouldn't drink milk from a cup so it caused me quite a bit of stress until our pediatrician told us it was fine if she just drank water and got her protein/fats from food and her limited nursing.

DD1 at 15 months when I just didn't offer one morning.
DD2 at ten months when my supply dried up due to pregnancy.
DD3 is going strong at 9.5 months. -
My older son did the last steps himself - I had him down to morning and bedtime at 12 months and over the next two months he dropped them too, first morning then night. #2 is 8 months so we'll go to at least a year, at which point I'll have to get him down to morning and night as well so I can go back to work, and then I'll follow his lead.

Around 11-11.5 months. I got a trust infection in one side and it wouldn't go away. It was so painful. I had to throw in the towel.

13 months with LO1 and 14 months with LO2. Both times, they gradually self-weaned.

20 months with DD. Still going strong with DS at almost 5 months.

I weaned my first at 21 months because I was 4 months pregnant and DONE. My second is one now and my cut off is two if he hasn't weaned by then.

15 months. I sort of regretted it afterwards but it all worked out in the end.

DD: 25 months -
LO was 15-16 weeks old. Whenever I get sad that BF is over I remember how much I hated pumping, which was truly the only way we could have kept going.

It was gradual. We were fully weaned by 16 months or so, but had been down to just one nursing session at bedtime for about 2 months.

My big girl finally weaned at 3y3m and my little guy is still nursing 4-5 times a day at 19 months.

She's still nursing 3x a day at almost 16 months, but I'm away for the weekend and seriously considering not nursing anymore when I get home. I'm feeling over it, although she's not. I'm so torn.
