It's been 2 months since I weaned, but I noticed that my boobs still have milk in them. When did your milk supply completely dry up? Or will it?

Curious about this...we'll be fulling weaning in two weeks (gulp!) When you say you have milk in them do they feel heavy? Or like you can squeeze and express?

@maybebaby: Mine don't feel like there is milk in them, but if they get ... er... stimulated enough
then yes, milk comes out.

@maybebaby: My boobies are fully deflated (wah-wah), but if I squeeze them, milk will express.

I was able to squeeze milk out of my right (the only one that was producing by the time we weaned) for about 8 months? I would try every once in awhile and I think the last time I tried was 8 months post weaning. I stopped trying after that because it wasn't that much.

Ugh. This is depressing. I stopped pumping Sunday. Tues I pumped for a few min bc I was in pain. Haven't pumped since but today lo was crying and I leaked clear through a nursing pad, bra, and shirt. Was hoping this would stop SOON

@Alivoo01: I stopped pumping about a month ago and just pumped once about a week after because I developed a plugged duct out of the blue. But since then, I haven't tried! I kinda don't want to know and I haven't leaked.

I weaned 14 months ago and can still squeeze out a drop or two

I just had a friend whose son is 18 tell me she could still squeeze out a drop or two now.
then yes, milk comes out.
