When I was packing the diaper bag today, I made sure to back bottles, but forgot the nipple!
In the nursery there was an extra sippy cup, so we managed to feed my 9 week old 2 ounces out of a sippy cup! She laughed and grinned through it, so she must have realized it was something out of the ordinary! I'm not planning on giving her a sippy for several more months, but it's nice knowing that we can improvise as needed.
How old was your LO when they first used a sippy?

We introduced it at 5.5 months when LO started solids. We used the Zoli and also tried the Lollacup but she only likes to drink water from it.

That's awesome that she got the hang of it at such a young age! We actually tried a sippy when my LO was refusing the bottle at 10 weeks but he eventually took the bottle. An LC recommended we try it.
We reintroduced the sippy at 5.5 months when we introduced solids. It took him a couple of weeks to start using it on his own.

@Sammyfab: I woudn't say that she got the hang of it, but she was able to eat some and not shriek, interupting the meeting. She was so happy while she was eating!

We introduced a sippy cup at 9 mths. We fill it up with water and she has slowly been getting the hang of it.

We started playing with it around 5 months. I just put some breast milk in it and let him play with it a bit.

we introduced a sippy of water at 5mo. Now at 8mo he drinks well out of the playtex straw cup.
