We used my parents as a babysitter last night. We don't use anyone else right now. Someone asked me last night who we use if my parents aren't around or spur of the moment and I guess we're just not spur of the moment people. We don't feel the need to go out without her a lot.

Last weekend so we could do a hospital tour. Before that, probably almost a year ago. We don't go out often (plus we have three kids, it's freakin expensive!!!)

This week. We so far only use grandparents for babysitting, but both sets are local. We probably use them 1-2x per month.

Last weekend for my Birthday. All of our family is in the area and we can always find someone to babysit if needed 
Never had to leave her someone who isn't family except for my best friend who she refers to as Auntie! I definitely feel very lucky!

We went to movie a couple of weeks ago and left DD with a fellow mom. We have never hired a sitter, but we do occasionally trade services with other parents! This week in watching another toddler for a few hours and next week her mom will watch DD so I can go do my glucose test.

I use a sitter every Tues for DD while DS is in school because I work. We used her for a date night the weekend after Thanksgiving also.

Saturday. We had a sitter 1-10pm and celebrated my birthday with lunch, a movie and a party at a friend's house. So fun!
Date nights and adult time is really important to us. I pretty much hit the ground running when we moved away from family to find sitters. I was surprised by how many people I asked said they almost never go out without their children. Honestly, for us that is not an option! Especially now that I stay home.
