Whether from stress, illness, etc., when your supply takes a hit, does it happen right away or over the course of a day or two?

It was always right away when I was stressed. I had lots of 0 and 0.75 half hour pumping sessions after I heard bad news about my Dad's health last year.

If I'm ill & don't really nurse for a day, the combo will cause a decrease.. if it's just lack of nursing or lack of hydration it take 2-3. Really just depends how many factors there are... the more the faster it seems to make a difference!

I have noticed both (stress = right away; illness = a day or so later). I was just curious what the consensus was (assuming there is one!).

usually right away. but it rebounds just as quickly as well, thank goodness!

I noticed a drop a day later the first time I was sick - now I take fenugreek or brewers yeast the moment I start to feel sick and it's not bad.

I've only been sick once (i had a mild type of stomach flu for a day, I guess...high fever, no vomiting, but chills and aches...) and my supply dropped the next day but it came back the day after that.
With numerous clogged ducts in a week, it dropped once I unclogged them and has stayed dropped for about 5 days now. It *might* be rebounding a bit?....
