Target, Babies'R'Us, and VONS depending on who had the best sale at the time. The best was when Target ran their "buy 2 get a $10 gift card" promotion because I would buy quite a few then.
I also received multiple $4/$5/$8 vouchers from Enfamil periodically. Right before the Target promotion expired, I would go back - with the Enfamil vouchers and all of the $10 gift cards I earned - and buy more formula, and earn more $10 gift cards!

I buy Similac at Sam's. I did the math and it's cheapest there.

Walmart is the cheapest I've found, but I usually get ours at Target while I'm picking up other stuff. Ask your ped if they have any coupons from the Similac/Enfamil/whatever rep. Sign up for coupons on line from whatever brand. We do all that for F's formula because he's on a special kind for preemies, but E is on the regular stuff and we made the switch to the Target brand about a month ago. We've had no problems and it's sooooo much cheaper.

@Mrs. Polish: We bought this last one at Costco. I thought it was cheaper, then anywhere else.
@Mrs. Blue: I just signed up at Similac, hoping they will send me some. I didn't think to ask the pedi, will do next time we are there. Which I am sure will be before her scheduled 9 month appointment.

CVS with their reward/coupon card is where we bought a lot. They often have $x off $x or 20% off a purchase. They also periodically would have formula on sale.
Without any coupons, WalMart was cheapest in our area.

We buy the Up and Up brand at Target. They have several ifferent kinds that are comparable/use the same ingredients as the name brand formulas. We were using Similac Sensitive until we realized that the Target equivalent was 1/2 the price. We spend about $21 every 10-12 days, which is a steal compared to what we were paying.

Before we weaned to whole milk we bought Similac Sensitive at Costco.

I buy Up&Up Gentle (Target brand), because it's cheap & almost exactly the same as the Enfamil Gentlease that she used to use. I have a Red card (the Target debit card) plus their cartwheel app, so I save at least 10% every time I buy formula. All you have to do is bring a voided check to their customer service department, and you get 5% off every time you shop (in store or online) plus free shipping from their website!

@deerylou: You need to get the Cartwheel app - there is ALWAYS a formula coupon on there. Diapers, food, etc. too! Usually just 5%, but sometimes it goes up to 20%!

Kirkland brand at Costco. Thank goodness DD is not sensitive to formula types!
I get Similac coupons in the mail it seems weekly. $5 off a product

@photojane: For real?! DH and I always mention how there's never a sale on the Up and Up formula and diapers (which are affordable as is, but hey, I'm cheap). Does the discount only apply to red card members?

We get Similac at Sam's Club - 8 pack of large ready-to-use bottles. We get coupons in the mail here and there, but I can't redeem them at Sam's so I'll use them at Target or BBB.

Same as @photojane:! LO actually did better on target brand than enfamil. You can also buy a case of 6 containers on the target website. There is a small savings, plus you can still use your redcard and save 5% on it, and free shipping.

@deerylou: there are coupons on the cartwheel app for diapers and wipes too!

@Smurfette: I went to a consignment sale last night and saw bottles of formula for sale. It might be cheaper checking big consignment sales.

@deerylou: We use the Similac sensitive. Was thinking about trying the Target. You think it is the same? No issues?
@photojane: What is the cartwheel app? Just for Target?
pomegranate / 3003 posts
@Smurfette: Absolutely no issues. We actually saw a drop in fussiness once we switched to Target brand.

@deerylou: Nope! Just go to the app store, and search for Cartwheel. You just browse the coupons, add the ones you want, then when you check out in the store they scan the barcode off of your screen. Super easy. I'm always searching for stuff on the app as I shop!
@Smurfette: Yep. It's just like a little coupon/discounts app for Target - there are discounts on everything... clothes, groceries, beauty, etc.
ETA: We actually prefer the Up&Up to Enfamil as well. It mixes a lot easier... no chunks!

Sam's Club online! Free shipping, $21/48 oz container. We spend about $35/month on formula. CRAZY
(The Simply Right Sensitive is $24/48oz container at Sam's. It's the same as Similac)

@Smurfette: we also use UP&Up gentle and DS did better on it than enfamil gentlease. DD has been on it since 1 week old and she's done great on it as well.

@photojane: thanks for the cartwheel app tip! We are starting our formula buying adventure and I'm a couponer!

When LO was on formula we used Target's Up & Up brand. It was amazingly inexpensive compared with the name brand stuff and LO did great with it.

T was on nutramigen which is a little harder to find. I generally got it on diapers.com or amazon - best prices!
