I have the nook and the more I use it the more I dislike it. The swing out tray is really nice and that is my favorite thing. But now that my son has started more self feeding and making more of a mess, I’ve found it difficult and annoying to clean. The pleather is wipeable but there are a lot of seams and the thread and edging get stained. It’s hard to get all of the food out of the nooks and crannies of the seat bottom. There are lots of areas on the plastic where the tray attaches that get gross. It’s just a daily annoyance.

I have the OXO Seedling and looooove it. I would never get a chair without wheels again. Other bonuses: easy to wipe clean cover that’s also easy to remove, lay flat tray, it has a tray on top of the tray (does that make sense?) so you don’t have to was the whole tray—just the cover, AND the tray hangs on the back of the chair which seems little but was a HUGE help. I thought I wanted a folding high chair but i don’t know when I actually would have folded it since we had to use it a few times a day.

@hellobeeboston: Ugh! Yeah, I guess now it's "too late" haha! I actually was never gonna get a 2nd either but DD2 REFUSED to sit in her high chair and only wanted to sit in her sister's TT so I started hunting

From personal experience with a "traditional" cushioned high chair, I recommend the Ikea one. We kept all our baby stuff from DD1 (they're 3 years apart) but sold/gave away the high chair because it was SO annoying/impossible to clean. The Ikea one is so much better! We've been using it 8+ months now and we do baby-led weaning so it gets MESSY. You can also get a little silicone mat to put on top (not sold by Ikea - I think we got it from Etsy) so you don't have to remove the tray each time.

@HappyBaker: I can see how they are the same size when opened and in use but the difference is you can't fold the OXO while you can fold the Nook! For us, we used to just put her highchair in the corner so we didn't really need to fold it so it depends how much you value the "foldability"

These were my top two choices as well. I went with the Joovy because it was cheaper. DS was never a big fan of it because he hated high chairs in general. We stopped using it after six months and started using the Fisher Price Space Saver instead.

I'd go for the IKEA chair instead. It has a small footprint and is easy to move. The seats of both your choices look hard to clean.

I would go with a hair chair that has no cloth/ fabric. Target has a great one i think by ingenuity that has wheels and later converts into a booster or tray-less high chair
