My best friend from high school has a little sister, I've been really close to their whole family since we've been friends. Her younger sister emailed me back when I was pregnant asking how to get into nannying. Knowing she was looking into more child care jobs made me keep her in the back of my mind for my LO.

Well this weekend I was at their house for a party, and most of their other siblings were excited to hold my LO for the first time. This younger sister made an offhand comment about her brother who was holding DS being much more patient than her, "I would never sit there and hold a baby like that."
I was confused, "But I thought you wanted to be a nanny?"
her: "Yeah, but I get paid for that. If I had the option between holding a baby, or eating and playing volleyball - I wouldn't hold a baby."

It definitely rubbed me the wrong way... should I be crossing her off my babysitter list? I hesitate only because I love their family (and her of course, she's like a little sister) and in all other aspects I've ever known her to be kind and sweet. Also, she's a teenager and I like teenage girls babysitting because they're cheaper
