My daughter just turned 4, and I honestly feel like parenting is the easiest it's ever been for us! The one thing I noticed though is that my daughter used to be so, so sweet and such an amazing listener... and now she's still sweet, but doesn't listen at all. But it's nothing like the tantrums of years past... glad those days are mostly passed!
My son is almost 6 and actually his 5s were really hard... but things have been getting so much better lately and I finally feel like I know what I'm doing as a parent. It's a new feeling - and I'm sure the rug will be pulled out from under me any minute now! For now though, I'm enjoying it.
At what age did it feel like parenting was getting easier?
I will say ever since becoming a mom of 2 in March that it's easier than I expected. We've both really fell into a good grove and balance, much better than I expected. But with that, our 3 year old has a feisty/spirited/call it what you want personality and she gives us a run for our money daily. I think the balance is that our 6 month old is possibly the best baby I've ever witnessed and is so go with the flow/happy/content that it helps balance the extra needs of our 3 year old right now. I will say it's no joke when people say 3 is worse than 2
