haha I'm waiting I will say ever since becoming a mom of 2 in March that it's easier than I expected. We've both really fell into a good grove and balance, much better than I expected. But with that, our 3 year old has a feisty/spirited/call it what you want personality and she gives us a run for our money daily. I think the balance is that our 6 month old is possibly the best baby I've ever witnessed and is so go with the flow/happy/content that it helps balance the extra needs of our 3 year old right now. I will say it's no joke when people say 3 is worse than 2 I didn't know it was possible but it is!

I feel like we've gone in and out of "easy" stages. I get the hang of him at one age, and am feeling confident, and then he goes into a new stage and all hell breaks loose again. And some things are easier than others in each stage...like right now, he's happy in school, his vocabulary is awesome and he's becoming great at communicating with us, and that makes it a lot easier, but he also has a new very independent "I can do it all by myself" streak, coupled with suddenly being *very* #teamMommyNOTdaddy has made my patience frazzle. (He turned 3 in early August).

A bit before dd's 3rd bday. not that it isn't challenging but it just is more natural and fun the older she gets. We just had lo2 though so I have no idea when balancing both will feel easier.

Eta if you asked me earlier I'd have said another major turning point was maybe about 15m.

D is 8, and it's a new set of parenting issues. Keeping on top of his school work and making sure he has his homework done. I also have to constantly keep him busy, or else he gets bored and drives everyone crazy. He's got so many extra curricular activities just for this reason.

I feel like it's getting easier with M at 18 months, because he's beginning to understand us and we understand him. But, at the same time he's getting into EVERYTHING and he wears us out.

All in all, this season of parenting is easier for me, but harder for DH, because we have switched roles. I'm the WOHP and he's the SAHP, so I don't have to be constantly on top of everything at home anymore, and DH handles it.
