50% of my posts in the last 2 months have complained about my son's 30 minute nap.

I'm almost scared to post this for fear of jinxing myself, but at 6 months, I think he has finally outgrown it. The past few weeks he has taken at least one longer nap a day (of one hour in length or more) and the rest of his naps are usually 45 minutes.

I think the game changers were (1) just getting older and (2) stretching out time length between naps. This morning, I kept him up 2.25 hours between his wake and first nap. He's been down for an hour and 20 minutes.

I've convinced myself to transition to just a morning and afternoon nap (and variable late afternoon/4 pm short nap depending on how well he naps in the afternoon).

I'm stunned. Thank you for putting up with all of my complaining. I just hope this lasts!
