@alison206: So the last 5 days have all been 7AM? Then that spike looks awesome! Whoohoo!
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@grade: the last 6 days, I forgot to fix the time on one, have all been at 7:00AM. Hopefully the spike lasts!

@alison206: Fingers crossed for a temp spike! You totally threw me off with the avator change. I love it, though!!!!

@jennimac - I didn't care for my avator being so personal, we discuss wayyyy to much on here! Fingers crossed for sure, that would have me POAS July 27th. Not the perfect teacher time line but it would put my heart back together.
@smurfette - thanks! Hopefully my temps continue to rise but it would make sense if I O'd yesterday. I was having crazy BD thoughts Wednesday and Thursday and I was beyond tired yesterday.

Here's my chart but it's completely uninteresting. No ovulation. Day 28. Shoot me now.

In other news, I am going to see a therapist at the fertility center here. I think I should have seen someone back in March when I had my mc, because I think I haven't dealt with some of the feelings. I just bottled them up and put on a brave face. I'm really looking forward to it.

@sslm: I'm so glad you're going to take care of yourself. For me, I'll be fine for a few days, maybe even a week and then I lose it for a couple of days. The bad days I feel like I can't make it without professional help. Hang in there!

@sslm: It must be right around the corner. Look at all that good mucus!!
Fertility centers have therapists? That's such an excellent idea!

@Grace: This one does! I googled "therapists dealing with miscarriage" in my city, and this one came up!! In other news, it's so awesome and hilarious that you were excited about my mucus!!! LOL.

@alison206: Crossing my fingers!!!!!
@sslm: Totally recommend it.. Hope it goes well!!!

@alison206: Yeah it's long overdue. I am the same, I have good days and then really bad days, and it's completely unpredictable.

@sslm, @grace, other ladies: what kind of CM kinds looks like snot and is really stretchy?
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@alison206: That's eggwhite cervical mucus (unless it's green, in which case you might wanna get that looked at). That's the fertile mucus that you are looking for.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@grace: thanks for answering so fast. Good to know. And its not green but that comment made me lol but I did have that yesterday so that's good. However, yesterday was one of the few days we did not do the baby dance.

@alison206: Might still be ok. Lots of people only do every second day and still get knocked up.

Ahhhhh. My temp dropped. When I used the restroom I noticed EWCM. So I used one last OPK and finally got a positive! I'm leaving today for two nights so we will have to BD again today and hope that does the job. Oh the joys of TTC.

@alison206: YES!!!!!!!!!! Hooray!!!!!

@sslm: fingers crossed!!! We could be TWW buddies!
@smurfette @jojogirl @grace: I'm hopeful, however, I'm out of town visiting my parents. Was going to stay a few days but now I'm only staying Sunday afternoon till Monday evening so we can catch our window.

@JoJoGirl: I'm glad. Ugh, I'd be such a mess to be around if the glums lasted longer.

@Grace: @sslm: Thanks And yeah Grace, right? I felt so silly being so down about it but am glad it didn't last too long.

@Rachel: Thanks And YEAH for the +OPK today!!! Is it creepy how much I stalk everyone's charts?

What day do you guys start temping? This cycle I decided I wanted to whole cycle charted, just for information's sake. Since my ovulation is so wacky, I am not sure when I will start temping next cycle.
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@JoJoGirl: Haha no I love it!! And Thanks!
@sslm: I usually start a few days before the earliest I've ever O'ed. At first I charted my whole cycle, but once I saw the general pattern, I stopped doing that.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@sslm: I think I'm going to start tomorrow (CD4) just cause I figure why bother over the weekend (getting up at 5:30 during week 1? no thanks) and this will be my first *full* cycle charting.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@sslm: I chart the whole cycle, just because it keeps me in the habit of doing it when I wake up. But, I don't worry about waking up early on weekends unless it's after CD15 (earliest I've ever O'd is CD17). Then I chart properly (with same wakeup) until AF shows.

Hey everyone. Thanks for checking on me Jojo and SSLM! I just caught up on old posts. I am visiting my mom on vacation and have not been on either bee's much. I have still committed to charting/temping while gone to sort out my wonkiness.
Jojogirl, I am so sorry about AF.
SSLM, I responded to you on WB but I just wanted to say I'm sorry again about no signs of O =(
As for me, temps are climbing. Feel free to vote in the O poll if you haven't, most people seem to think I O'ed on 15, which I am still...70% sure is probably right. I think my darkish OPK on CD16 was probably due to acupuncture that day, then I think that the dip at 4&5 DPO was probably a second estrogen surge, also induced by acu. I think it was like my ovaries took a sigh of relief with my acupuncture haha. My CM really lines up with CD15, and (TMI, cross posting from WB) I did the stretch test (http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/cervical-mucus.html) and it stretched to like 4 inches those days. Gross, right?
Link to my chart.

I am still out of town on my mini vacation, but I will be on more because it's just my mom and I and our relatives have gone. We are heading out to see What To Expect right now... =) I will start testing tomorrow or the next day, I have a bunch of cheapies at home I wanna use.

Another silly question (I'm full of them this cycle)! Today I got my first positive OPK and we did last night (9pm) and this morning (9am) but DH feels like there wasn't "alot" this morning. I am out of town and wasn't planning on going home till Tuesday morning. Am now considering going home Monday evening. Here comes my question:
If I had a positive OPK this morning, would I still be fertile tomorrow? Would it be in my best interest to go home to BD?
EDIT: Only here could someone ask such a silly question and feel ok doing so. Thanks for the support ladies!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@alison206: I always hear and say day of OPK and day after (usually O day) are your fertile times, so get to it! And even if it didn't 'feel' like a lot, he probably had millions of swimmers in there, so don't worry about that. YAY!
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@alison206: I don't know much about opks but I heard it means you'll ovulate somewhere in 24-48 hours... Not sure if that's right. And this probably isn't the sane advice, but if if were me, I'd go home early! Has your temp shot up yet?
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
Another false alarm stupid dips meaning nothing. I hate temping right now.
