I am trying to decide between the city select and the city versa strollers....does anyone have any advice/feedback on either of these two?
I live in the suburbs of Philly and am expecting my first child in January. Thoughts on these strollers for the suburbs? I'm trying to narrow it down before Black Friday/cyber Monday in the hopes I find a good deal!

I originally wanted the versa because looking at measurements online it seemed smaller by enough to make a difference and ib thought it would be easier. When I went to buy buy baby though I was able to see the two side by side and the difference isn't huge.
I preferred the wheels on the select but the handle on the versa.
Ultimately, I knew we would likely have two in a stroller for a decent amount of time so I decided to get the select so we could add the second seat later.

Select!! I know nothing about your other choice but the bassinet option on the select is the best!!

If you're planning on having a second while your first is still using a stroller, I'd go for the City Select. My friend has a Versa and I don't think a second seat can be added? She also didn't like how the seat couldn't face her, whereas the City Select can face either way.
Have you looked at the UppaBaby Vista? I like mine much better than the City Select.

@Cole: That's what I'm thinking, we will probably want a 2nd in about a year and a half, so that might be why the select is a better choice. Is it really heavy or hard to maneuver day to day?
@QBbride: We have looked at the uppababy vista and that was my first choice, but the salesman talked us out of it b/c we live in the suburbs and won't need a stroller a ton, so he thought it was a waste to spend $800 on the vista. What do you think is better about the vista vs. the select?

I bought the City Versa and am also due in January. The older version is on sale right now. The seat does reverse, and while you can't add a second seat, you can add one of those glider boards.
Something that I didn't realize from the description is that when folded, it doesn't stand upright. The website is a little misleading in this way--they show the easy fold and the stroller still standing upright.

@kbm1026: it's not hard to maneuver at all, it pushes really well! In small shops it is a bit cumbersome but in most stores it's fine and for sidewalks, zoos etc it's awesome.
It's certainly not a light stroller but I am not a big person by any means and can manage it just fine. You won't be magically folding it with one hand and tossing it in your trunk though, it's easy to fold but you need two hands (I think with anything that size that's the case though.)

@kbm1026: I have used the vista too with the family I nannied for and I feel like they are very comparable strollers. The cost difference to me was the deciding factor. I think with the new one it's over $1000 when you add the second seat as opposed to around $600 with the select.

@kbm1026: for me, I found the Vista not nearly as long as the City Select and much easier to maneuver. also, Vistas seem more expensive but when you add up all the 'extras' that you'd buy with the City Select if you want them (bumper bar for seat, bassinet) they're very comparable in price. I LOVED the bassinet for walks and it is certified as OK to use for night sleep (the City Select bassinet isn't deep enough) so we used it in our room and when we went away for weekends/out of town visits.
@Happygal: haha I don't think my friend had any idea that the seat reversed! She kept telling me she wished that was an option!!

@QBbride: You can be her hero and seriously make her day. Either show off and turn it around for her, or send her a youtube clip showing how you can do it!
