There is a lot of overlap with those tests, so I wouldn't be too concerned. I think MrsPanda had a chart she posted that showed the hcg range for each level, and it was pretty wide. I had the same thing happen and when I googled it, there were a ton of people who had the same thing happen but had normal pregnancies.

ETA: but I would still call the doctor if you're concerned and it hasn't gone up after another week

@marionberry: did it still see 2 - 3 weeks? I wouldn't worry. Try again in few days and it should say 3+.

Those digital tests can be really unreliable!! Particularly considering your hydration/urine dilution levels, etc. I wouldn't stress about it too much at all.

I can't remember exactly what happened, but I took one earlier in my pregnancy and it hadn't moved me up a level either (It might have even regressed?? I honestly can't remember, but I flipped out). Granted it was in the afternoon and I hadn't held my urine and had been drinking a lot of water, but it still made me panic. I am now almost 24 weeks and everything seems to be progressing normally (knock on wood! ).

All that to say, I wouldn't rely on those too much. There are too many variables that can change results, and I've heard a lot of people who have had issues with them!

@marionberry: I never took a digital, but scrutinized the darkness of the pink line just like this. It was a point of so much anxiety and worry for me. I wish I would have just stopped after the first one.
