@theotherstark: we do baths once a week on Sunday nights. We only starting using the actual bathtub a week or two ago. She hasn't tried to pull up in the tub yet, but that's more because she's so excited about splashing.

@FaithFertility: we do the same. Her dad is pretty much the one doing bath time.

Glad I'm not alone! I feel like that is my constant parenting mantra. Haha H is usually distracted by splashing, shampoo bottles, or toys, but last night he was just not having any of it. Just wanted to stand up apparently. these crazy kids! He is obsessed with water, and he gets soooo gross when he is eating, so that's why we do baths every night. I was also hoping the consistent routine would get him sleeping better. Hasn't happened yet, but I can always hope

Also. It is so crazy to me that he is already having big boy baths in the big tub. Where did my teensy peanut newborn go?!

@theotherstark: I know! It's crazy. And sigh I'm still holding out for like, one wake-up for a week straight so I know it's the new normal.

@theotherstark: We give M a bath every 2 or 3 days. We alternate between DH & I (depends who's cooking dinner and all). He's still in his infant whale tub & doesn't try to pull up on anything *yet*. He's too busy sucking the water out of his fishy or eating a duckie nose.

And vomit all over the car on the drive home. I hate that she throws up from congestion.

@theotherstark: I bathe both boys together or my husband gets in there with them. It's a shit show! Ryan is splashing like crazy and Tyler has to be warned not to be today a million times and now Ryan tries to pull up the whole time. Every time he stands I sit him back down and say "you must sit down. It's not safe to stand". Repeat a thousand times and eventually he will get if!

@MamaG: ugh im so sorry H has a pretty insane gag reflex so when he coughs really hard, he spits up (throws up?? I still am not too sure on the difference ). Sorry you're dealing with it, and that she is sick again!!
@BandDmommy: haha that is sooo cute! she will look like the cutest Tink.
@winniebee: ha oh man - it must be insane with two!! I've been doing the whole pull him down and tell him no, it's not safe, so glad I'm doing something right hopefully he will get it one of these days. Ha.
@FaithFertility: aw man! I was hoping for a And G would be such a cute Ariel!! Ha. I still have no idea what to do for Halloween.

@BandDmommy: OMG, those costumes area adorable! Makes me want a girl.
@FaithFertility: Aww, no babes #2 yet! I've tested a few times and haven't had a period in 6 months, since I started the mini-pill, and when I did they were 45+ days, so it'll probably be erratic for awhile.

Was kind of funny this morning, I had to leave very specific instructions for my back-up daycare on how to feed E. Hold him like you're nursing with one of his arms behind you, warm bottle, when he's tired. lol. Hopefully it works for her!
Off early today for his 9 month check-up.

@FaithFertility: Aww!

Ughhh quick rant during lunch I was chatting with DH on phone about supplies to get for the storm, he said stores xyz are out of nursery water
Two girls at work quickly piped in and said Nursery water?!? Just give her tap or drinking water.......which I politley said I know but I just feel comfortable using it, and they laughed and were like it is the same thing, my Dr said blah blah blah and why pay extra, IDK if I am being sensitive but I felt like saying STFU.....What is it to you?!?!?

@BandDmommy: It is ok I wasn't 100% dying for a BFP but would definitely take it!
Guess we are truly in the NTNP camp!

E had his 9 mo. Appt. Yesterday.. He is 21 lbs 15 oz (85%), 29-3/8" long (86%). His Dr. Referred us to an ENT to get started on the process for tubes. He did have some fluid in his left ear yesterday. Not quite ready to do tubes yet, but this way we are one step closer when we do decide to. Unless by some miracle he doesn't get anymore infections, but since we r going into cold season again Dr. Wasn't too confident.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@josina: Growing boy! He is adorable!
Glad you have a plan, and prayers to no more infections
pomelo / 5298 posts
@josina: Good checkup. I'm sure the thought of tubes is scary, but I've read lots of very positive stories about them. I hope when you are ready you see significantly less infections.

I posted a clip in IG, but K is now starting to let go and maintain balance. Last night I grabbed her hands and she walked with me across the house. She'll do it with just holding one hand too. She's not into her walker yet. She pushes too hard and her feet can't keep up.
She still has a cold, but it's significantly better. She's coughing when she first wakes up and a bit through the day but not all night long. Instead C is doing that now.
K has become a pacifier junkie lately. She had been so indifferent to it for so long and now she seems to want it more.
She has her 9 month check next week. It was delayed because of HFM. I know her weight, I'm anxious to see her length.

@MamaG: I saw sooooo crazy! Big girl ready to rock andnroll!! G lets go too but has 0 balance....lol
pomelo / 5298 posts
@FaithFertility: It comes overnight, I swear. Up until yesterday every time she'd let go, she'd immediately plunk down. She first stood without holding last night for DH and by the time it registered what he was saying, she fell down. She really started cruising along furniture yesterday and C was SO EXCITED for her.
Speaking of which, C and K are truly each others biggest fans. I love it. Well that is when C isn't busy acting careless and risking hurting K.

@MamaG: I love the sibling pictures and bonds!
I can't wait to experience that!
