BFN for me today, 10 DPO (CD 26). Lately AF has been coming on CD 26, so I'll keep testing until I'm out for sure. I'm just not sure I actually ovulated this cycle since my temps were all over the map and my Wondfo never turned positive until CD 19, which doesn't make any sense with my CM, so I was discounting that as a secondary/Luteal Phase LH surge (which is apparently a thing).
Assuming I'm out for this cycle I booked some acupuncture appointments for this month with the awesome acupuncturist who helped me get pregnant with LO. Fingers crossed!
@coopsmama: congrats! so exciting!

Well I finally got into the doctor today. As I expected he doesn't think I'm ovulating and is sending me to a fertility doctor. They're going to medicate my cycles and see what happens and DH is going to have some tests done too. I'll know more when I meet with the specialist.
I know this is not uncommon and I'm happy we're moving forward, I felt good leaving the doctors. Then on the way home I became really emotional about it. 8 months into the journey and realizing it's not over yet. I know many people have it a lot harder and a lot longer, but that doesn't make it any easier for me right now.
To top it off DH is working late so I'm at home alone being mopey.
Looks like I'll be missing another month, good luck to everyone here and see you in the January thread!
Thanks for listening to my rant!

@WinterBee: I'm really sorry to hear that. Eight months is still a long time when you're so invested emotionally, so you're totally ok to feel sad. At least this way you've got definite next steps to take. Take it easy tonight - hope DH isn't back too late. My DH was working late lots of the past few months when things were not going well & it was rough. But tv and chocolate helped! Hugs!

@WinterBee: I'm glad that you got some answers, but I'm so sorry that you're still on this journey. 8 months is a long time, and it's so so draining. All of the tracking, timing, anticipation/hope, sadness, lather, rinse, repeat . . . please feel free to rant whenever about whatever! It's hard enough to put on a brave face for everyone irl. Please don't worry about doing that here.

@WinterBee: rant away! I know exactly how you feel. I recently had a very similar doctors appointment and I felt good about having some answers and a plan initially, but broke down driving home when the reality really set it that this is probably going to be a longer and more difficult road than we thought. It's just so unfair

DS arrive in Jan and AF just came back this week so we're officially TTC again.
Cycle Day: 2
TTC Cycle #: 1
Ovulation & POAS date: If my cycles postpartum look like my old cycles, I'll O on 12/18. I should wait until 1/1 to POAS, but will probably POAS at 12/27, before we start traveling to see family for the rest of my TWW.
Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: OPKs. We've been on the inadvertent abstinence method since DS arrived (I'm BFing and occasionally co-sleeping), but DS is excited to try for number 2 so hopefully we can figure it out.
For Fun: My favorite December tradition is our advent calendar. Everyone peeks and shuffles the goodies so it's a real surprise in the morning. At almost 11 months, DS loves unwrapping presents, even if we never give him the candy.

@MrsB2012: how crazy your first also came 3w early! No I wasn't around on hb back then - I was unaware of this amazing group of gals I am curious what will happen with my future LO2, my OB was quick to say that it doesn't happen again by default so I was like oh thanks for that!
I'm feeling totally normal apart from slightly tired - hoping it's not PMS!

@Nutella: my dr told me the same when u asked if #2 would come early. She said I'd need to have multiple early babies before they could decide if that's when my body likes to deliver haha. #1 was born at 37w5d ( so more 2 weeks early haha) and #2 was 37w2d

@Mrs. Detour: Welcome! and good luck
As for me, I am spotting. AF is not due until Wednesday. I rarely ever spot. But after last month, I don't know what to think. I don't want to get my hopes up. Especially since our timing wasn't great. Tomorrow will be ~11 dpo. Maybe I will test tomorrow. If the spotting keeps up, this will be a record short cycle for me (23 versus my typical 27).

I tested on 12/4 and got a negative, and then was out of tests. I stopped at cvs today, and was going to wait till the morning, but poas right now and got my positive ! I'll call the RE tomorrow and get blood work drawn to make sure this one is sticky!
Edit- cleaning bathroom counters now!

@flowergarden: good luck today!
BFN this morning, which should be 11/12 dpo. The spotting stopped (was limited to Saturday), but the migraine-like headaches, nausea, and exhaustion have persisted. To be fair, I do get migraines, and the big ones are frequently accompanied by nausea/vomiting, although they rarely occur close to/during AF. But who knows?! AF is due Wednesday. I'm not holding out too much hope, but at the same time, the timing of the spotting/headaches is slightly suspect. I guess there's not much to be done other than wait . . . and try not to obsess (ha!)

@pwnstar: As I expected, I'm definitely out. AF started in full force yesterday. So on to Clomid cycle #2. I won't POAS until January. Emotionally, I'm feeling pretty good. Trying not to TTC zap my emotional energy this time (I had to go to therapy and on anxiety meds six months ago it got so bad). I'm focusing on the positives - it does look like I ovulated.
For Clomid users, it's definitely been a much more intense period (cramping etc) than I usually have. That makes me hope I did in fact ovulate. Now, I'm just wondering when I actually ovulated. Digital positive opk cd 13, didn't start full period until cd 32.

Popping in late because I was away all last week. I'm 9dpo today, we timed things great - BDd on O-4, O-3, O-1, O. Not feeling optimistic though and my 2.5 year old has broken my will and maybe my marriage. Probably better I not get pregnant.

Well. I didn't have to wait long. AF is here. On to Cycle 4.
My AMH levels are in too. They are low. And so is my vitamin D. Doc prescribed vit. D and said if I am not pregnant in 3 months that she will refer me to an RE. I just can't help but feel like I don't have that long to wait. But. I need not to get ahead of myself and try not to (mentally) cross that bridge before I have to.
@JoJoGirl: ((hugs)) and ((hugs)) and ((hugs)). The strain on our marriage was one of the biggest reasons why I thought for so long we were one and done.

@JoJoGirl: really sorry to hear you're having troubles with your 2.5 year old. Remember, 'this too shall pass.' I have a 2.5 year old as well, they certainly can be really wearing on you. Hope it passes soon.

@pwnstar: Thank you for saying so. How old is your LO now? Our first year was so hard, then from 1-2.5 we've been okay. Now is almost as bad as newborn stage
@MrsB2012: Thank you!
pear / 1718 posts
@JoJoGirl: She's 3 (born Sept. 2012). Our first year was also incredibly difficult, things smoothed out for a few months, and then we (as a couple) hit a rough patch, the biggest catalyst of which was expectations regarding household duties. I was primary for all things involving LO, and between LO and the demands of my career (eta: and never really feeling like I got a chance to catch my breath after the first 15 months), I hit a breaking point. We took the time to work through that, and are in a much better place now (because we communicate with each other so much better).

Ok, thought I was out as I've been spotting and thought I was 14 DPO based on Fertility Friend. But if I go by when I got my actual positive Wondfo OPK it's possible I didn't ovulate until CD 20, which would be new for me. If that's the case, then today I am actually 10 DPO. And last night I got SUPER nauseated and woke up wanting to puke all night. So I tested this morning and see a super squinter...
I had HG with my first pregnancy so nausea is definitely the way my body reacts to HCG... I can't believe I might be pregnant again! Don't have any FRERs...maybe can stop at Walgreen's later today. Is that what you ladies would suggest? Do you see the barest shadow of a line here? (This is what my at 10 DPO last time looked like...)
