A lot of times, when someone asks what our son's name is and we tell them it's Liam, they ask if we named him after Liam Neeson. Or they'll say, "Oh, like the actor?" which I don't think is assuming we named him after the guy, but is still strange. I usually say, "We didn't name him after the actor, but it is spelled the same."

Isn't Liam a common enough name now that everyone doesn't need to assume we named our son after the actor???

Have you ever gotten a similar response when you tell a stranger your LO's name?
