I had a team lunch outing to attend. Was going to skip it, but decided to keep DS up an hour and take him with me! (they wanted me to bring him).
Went well considering he was wanting to sleep on the way there! 
Now that he's older, I'm def not as strict about naptimes as I used to be in his infant days!

Definitely more flexible, as long as he is able to stay awake--I dread the car/stroller naps.

I'm not as strict with nap times but I do pay for it when she crashes from being overtired around bedtime.

Of course, can't always stick to a schedule, especially with more than one LO.

I do, but she usually then falls asleep in the car and is a basket case all afternoon

If we don't get him down by 1:30 (usual time is 1), then he probably won't nap, so we skip it altogether. We do this once or twice a week, depending on what we have going on, or if he falls asleep in the car at some point, which also usually ruins his nap.
