I've been going through my girls clothes, baby toys, movies and other baby gear and I'm happy to be clearing out clutter but on the other hand I'm sad to see these things go. It's almost like I'm now realizing the baby stage is over and I'll never have another baby. I know I'll get over it but seeing all this stuff set out on the counter for pick ups tomorrow is sort of a bummer 
especially the tiny clothes and toys they loved so much! I did keep some classic toys but the bulky ones have to go.

@Bao: yes! As my little babies start to grow out of their stuff it makes me sad that they wont ever be that tiny and also I won't have another little baby again. I donated all of their clothes and our swing/bouncer (except for a couple of their preemie outfits so they can see how tiny they were)to the NICU.
It makes me sad but at the same time freeing because I dont have to save tubs of stuff anymore -
Yes, sort of...but id say the relief of clearing some clutter outweighs the sentimental feelings for me!

Yes, I definitely get a little sad because we're 100% one and done, and while I'm totally at peace with that decision, it still makes me sad that I can't use certain things again or have another LO to wear certain clothes!

I do but it's nice to declutter and for the most part, a lot of my friends are having kids that are younger than LO so I give it to them and it is nice seeing them in her outfits or play with her toys

We have packed away literally everything for possible LO #2 and it's honestly because I can't think about doing this!

No, I'm not sentimental about stuff like that and love getting rid of things they no longer need so we can reduce clutter.

I don't have to now because we want more kids.. Got rid of big bulky items but I can't imagine gettin rid of clothes, books..... Maybe I'll save for grandkids? Jk. I'll probably change my mind after a few years and be happy to get rid of things..

I'm already sad thinking about DD2 outgrowing all of our baby things. I'm 99% sure I don't want another, but I'm sad this phase of our life is coming to a close.

Some things have been hard, but I love seeing my sister's kids or friends' kids wearing our hand me downs, so that isn't too bad. I recently donated my twin breastfeeding pillow and that was very emotional! We haven't used it since they were little (probably a year ago!) but it saw me through a lot of rough nights and days. All three of us used to pass out together with it during particularly rough days where they just wanted to nurse nonstop. Weird because it's just a pillow, but it's full of memories I guess!

No not really. I didn't like baby days. She's awesome-er every day. If I had the chance to go back and relive the last 17 months with her... I would not lol. I like moving forward I don't want those days back.

Not sure if this is something that happens to new moms in the first month but I was sad putting the preemie clothes that we borrowed away.

@bluestriped bee: I am guilty of letting my babies wear clothes longer than they need to because I'm sad to put them away...and they're nowhere near newborns anymore!
I don't think I'm ever fully getting rid of the preemie clothes. I've given a few onesies to my DDs for their dolls, but I've still got all my favorites tucked away. They're so tiny they don't require much space anyway!

I did a bunch of this today. It sucked the first time, but this time sucks more. It has actually sparked conversations about a third even though we both know we are probably done.
