We have a parking lot and a drop off area, I make my son wait until we get to the front and I pull as far forward as possible. Sometimes he'll get out before that point and then it seems that I get stuck behind the one who doesn't pull all the way up and I can't go around them. Que frustration!!!

In this case, if I were behind the parent that stopped in the middle, I'd pull my car in front and park in front of them.

We have a parking lot where you park and walk your kid(s) in. It really annoys me when parents pull up right in the drive to take their kids in because space is limited and usually I have to wait until they come back out and move their car.

Sometimes it appears that people have done this when in reality they parked behind another car that has left prior to you arriving. I've been left parked in the middle and I've had some that come and pull-in in front of me. Which then means that I now have to wait on them and so does the cars behind me. Which I find rude. The only time I pull up in the middle is when it's in the middle of the day and no one else is picking-up/dropping off. The rest of the time I pull all the way up.
