When did your baby drop? I am 3.5 weeks from my due date and my little man is super high still! Looking forward to him dropping so I can breathe and get rid of some heartburn!

I honestly couldn't tell you. Looking at pictures, it's not clear to me when it happened or if it did. I never felt the breathing or heartburn get better.

I'm 38 weeks today, and not a thing yet. I hope it happens soon.

She dropped early. But she still didn't come until her due date.

38 1/2 weeks and I still don't think she has dropped. But I also don't have the trouble breathing like most people seem too. Heart burn yes, but that is all.

Neither of my babies dropped until right before they came out!

I'm 36.5 weeks and my doc thinks I already dropped. When I laid on the table yesterday, she commented on how much room I had between my uterus and my chest!

Never! And I had heartburn literally until I had her! I do have a short torso, though so maybe there was just nowhere else for her to go?

@JerricaBenton: Did she have hair? I am having bad heartburn and I really want my little girl to have some hair!

I thought she dropped about 34 weeks but then last week she *really* dropped at 37!

@Smurfette: Yes! I was born with a TON of hair that I never lost - but she doesn't have as much as I did. My mom had horrible heartburn, too. She definitely has hair though, and it was long enough for a bow clip right at birth!

@Smurfette: It really seems to be the one old wives' tale that is true! Heartburn was truly my only pregnancy complaint!

I'm honestly not sure! I'm short waisted so to me I never looked different, had heartburn right till the end, etc. But at my 39-week appointment, the midwife said the baby was very low, right up against the cervix. So I'd guess somewhere between 36 and 39 weeks?

Yeah, I should clarify that like @ladyfingers, my baby had totally dropped at around 38 weeks , but I couldn't tell from the outside
