We've been focusing lately on teaching the kids how to clean themselves. It's going well, but one wrinkle is that they don't always do a great job washing their faces.

Here's how they do it: we give the kids a sudsy little hand towel, and ask them to scrub their face... then after they wash the soap off with water, we give them a dry towel to dry their faces with. They usually get most of the dirt off, but sometimes I have to go back scrub a few spots that they missed. I think maybe a mirror would help them in their face washing - we have a waterproof plastic one that we'll attach to the tile.

Do your LOs do a good job of washing up? Any tips on what's worked for you?
