Lately my older daughter (2) won't eat breakfast for a couple hours after waking up at 7. She used to want to eat immediately! She lounges around her crib & when I get her up, she throws a fit to play.
Does your toddler fight breakfast? I don't know if this is her trying to exercise some control or not, I feel like she's gotta eat, esp after dinner being 5 pm the night before!

He doesn't, but he generally doesn't eat til 830, and wakes up around 7. If we don't have anywhere to be i don't stress it. He also loves to lounge in his crib for like 30-45 min after waking up!

For awhile she wouldn't eat breakfast until she had been up for some time. Now she asks to eat immediately but then doesn't actually eat anything

Sometimes LO will just pick at it and come back to it way later to finish it. I never stress about her eating.

Nope, mine wants to eat within 30 minutes of waking up! The only time she fought it was when she was the stomach flu (and we didn't know).

No. He wants breakfast immediately, and he eats a ton. Today was a glass of milk, a banana, 2 scrambled eggs, and a muffin. Eating me out of house and home!

Yes, my daughter is like me - she can't eat for a while after she wakes up. If we need to rush out the door, the best I can do is a small piece of fruit, or maybe a few cheerios. No idea what we'll do when school comes and she can't eat a big snack at 10. But if she's not in a growth spurt, she rarely eats much at breakfast.

E doesn't like to get up immediately after waking, in the morning or after nap time. He usually eats breakfast about an hour or so after he wakes up. Breakfast is the easiest meal of the day for him, he always eats well.

He has yogurt and milk right away when he wakes around 8am. He usually doesn't have a big breakfast meal until at least 9am and/or later on the wknds!

no, but we don't feed her. Right now, LO has a very early morning wakeup around 5 for milk...and then wakes for the day at 6. She doesn't get breakfast till 7:30 am, so by then she's pretty hungry!
