When did you start feeding your LO solids for breakfast? What did you feed? How soon after the morning nursing session did you offer breakfast?
LO is 10.5 months old, and I still haven't added a breakfast yet. =/

We started with breakfast - cereal (oatmeal or rice) and introduce new fruits and veggies then...or stick with a fave. We started at 6 months. I'm in Canada, so I'm still home with her, so starting with breakfast made sense for us.

LO is 5 months and i've only just started having him sit by us (in his carseat/stroller thing) while we eat breakfast so he can get used to the whole eating together thing. however, i do not know when i'll actually start giving him breakfast. i was thinking of putting that off until he's more adept at eating--i don't have time to give him a bath in the mornings before i go to work!
sorry no advice, but i can totally see myself putting off breakfast for a long time.

breakfast was the last meal we did, at 8.5 months. we do the 3rd stage baby cereal - the one with little chewy bits in it. i just make it up,with water though, not milk. sometimes I do oatmeal, or yoghurt, or just fruit.
we do it half an hour or so after his first morning feed

We just started solids yesterday - she's 6 mo. She has her bottle at 8am and then gets some cereal around 9am. Next week I'm introducing more excited foods like avacado and sweet potato.

@fancyfunction: hope she likes sweet potato and avocado...my LO is not impressed with either at this point! Just clamps her mouth closed and looks at me

@tinyperson: Aw, oh no! I hope she likes them. Does your daughter have any favorite foods yet?

@fancyfunction: I think her fave is pear so far...she'll gobble that down no prob! She also liked her rice cereal from the get go.

An actual bfast around 8 months. He loveessss blueberry pancakes!

We started with breakfast first! So right when we started solids at 5.5 months.
