My husband shaved his beard into a classic creeper mustache.
He sent me a picture this afternoon & I wish I was kidding but I immediately felt so violated, like he cheated on me or something. I know this may sound crazy to some but I LOVED his beard and he knew it. Also the mustache just looks bad.
Can anyone make me feel better by sharing something your husbands have done that you find so stupid? Please?

Haha my husband did something similar and he looked like a pedophile. He just did it as a joke (leaving just the mustache) and immediately finished shaving once we took the picture.

My husband has done this too. But he just shaved everything off without telling me, no mustache. All the teachers at daycare didn't recognize him!

My husband has a mountain man beard he refuses to shave. It's been a cold, lonely winter. 
At least he doesn't get food stuck in it.

My husband broke his collarbone while trying to ride a skateboard ... at 30. 
In regards to hair/beard - he just cut over 10 inches (he had long, gorgeous locks), into a really modern short cut. I love it though. And, the day after our baby was born, he cut his 10 month beard into a creeper stache, and I almost died from laughing.

@littlejoy: I laughed pretty hard when I saw the picture and it took me a few minutes to realize that he actually shaved his beard.
My husband also seriously injured himself a few years ago riding a scooter (the ones made for 7 year olds). Haha

@808love: We lived in Alaska for a few years & he kept a looong beard for "warmth" haha. It got pretty out of control at one point.

My husband rode his mountain bike down our back deck and broke his wrist while hanging out with @littlejoy s DH the week before her DH broke his collarbone. I was so ticked because we had a 6 month old and had to do most things while was healing.

I don't have a husband, but my dad broke his foot playing basketball when I was 10 and my brothers were 8 and 1. And my mom was on her first solo trip away from us. And he didn't tell her, and didn't let us tell her, until she got home. She was PISSED.

My husband, before we were dating, got a huge cross tattoo in the middle of his chest.... like, bigger than his hand. yuck. He knows my opinion on it. He's not even muscular even, so......

My DH has a beard - and has had one for as long as I have known him - and I get upset even when he trims it short, so I totally feel your pain. He has shaved it off completely a few times and he looks like a totally different person. Not a fan.

A few years back my husband and some of his buddies celebrated the end of no shave November by going to get hot shaves at a barber shop. They all came home with truly, insanely ridiculous facial hair. It was awful. Dh lived with it for about 4 days before shaving but off. Our daughter was terrified of him.

My husband went bowling last week on a work outing and then proceeded to spend the next 4 days hobbling around the house, refusing to go up and down the stairs, and groaning every time I asked him to hold the baby. You'd think he ran a maestro he hadn't trained for, instead of playing a "sport" for a couple hours that you can drink beer during.

@mrskansas: My dad grew a beard when my mom was pregnant with me - 36 years ago - and he tried to shave it off last year and all of us kids had a complete fit. My sister actually cried! It felt like he was trying to completely change on us, sort of a weird betrayal in a way.
He kept the beard.

DH usually wears a goatee which I love, sometimes a full beard which is fine. What I HATE is when he lets his mustache hair get so long it curls over his lips, so gross.

My husband can't get a good haircut to save his life. He always winds up with bangs that either look straight out of dumb and dumber or a v that looks like dracula. I threaten to buzz his hair because that's the only time he doesn't have those ridiculous bangs. (but he complains that his head gets to cold!)

DH has had some horrible beards and mustaches. His dumbest thing was growing his hair long and doing no poo when I was pregnant with LO1. He looks awful in all the pictures from that time. That may be part of why we didn't do newborn pics. Since then he had a dumb mustache in a family portrait. I was so pissed.
Sometimes I forget that he had a dumb mustache when we meet people. Then later I'll realized those people only know his as the guy with the doucey mustache.

My husband has also done this and it makes me so incredibly upset. I don't even like when he kisses me with his gross porn stache, and then he looks like a teenager with a clean shaven face.
He has also tried out various haircuts where parts of his head are shaved (think Skrillex). I'm just glad he wears a hat at work.

Not my husband, but my ex-boyfriend (when we were dating) did something similar. He had long (like, to his shoulders) thick hair that I loved to play with when we were laying around talking. One day, he came over to my house to hang out and he'd completely chopped it and got a regular man haircut. I was so shocked and sad, I burst into tears!

Oh my DH does stuff like this all the time. Instead of paying for a haircut he will just let his hair grow until it starts bothering his ears and then shaves it all off. I hate when he shaves his head.
On the line of injuries, I had a miscarriage that ended in a D&C about year ago with a 10 month old and 2.5 year old to take care of. The day after my surgery, he punched a door (which is extremely out of character and I thought he was joking when he told me) and broke his hand. I was pissed. Sharing a life and needs is hard sometimes!

My husband went to one off the training salons and came out looking like Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber. It was hilarious.

MY husband has great hair, but he is Greek and it grows very fast. So sometimes he just buzzes the whole thing one length because it is easy and I get so mad. He looks so handsome with it longer on top....

Omg, speaking of facial hair, when I was about 3 years old my mom and I went to visit some family over the summer. My dad was left alone.
When he came to pick us up at the airport, he had grown a mustache...this is 1978, so you can imagine what it looked like. The picture of me with him is hilarious, I am scared to death and literally crying and pushing him away because I didn't recognize him. My mom said he shaved it the second we all walked in from the airport and hasn't grown it since.

@looch: Ha, the same thing happened to me as a kid!
My dad is an outdoorsy guy and I remember him going on a month long backpacking/river trip. He obviously didn't bring shaving gear with him because he didn't really need it--I immediately burst into tears when I saw him!! Hasn't had facial hair since.

@Mrs. Turtle: In your dad's defense, at least he hurt himself! When my college roommate's brother was an infant/young toddler his dad was holding him. Someone threw a basketball to the dad and apparently his instincts told him to drop the baby and catch the ball. Poor kid broke his leg!! As you can imagine, the mom has never let him live that one down.

This is my life. For a few years every "No Shave November" or "Mustache May" or some other trumped up excuse meant a really awful mustache or goatee. I subconsciously didn't kiss him as much and he noticed. After a few more rounds he decided he preferred kisses over the entertainment his facial hair provided other people.
Full beard, stubble, clean shaven, I don't care. Creeper mustache? Hell no.

DH and his male colleagues do the no-shave November in the ER and it is so gross on all of them. I cannot imagine being a patient and having all the male staff treating me with that nonsense on their face haha. Obviously I do not love mustaches.

My husband just recently started trimming his beard to a reasonable, but still very full length. I love the beard, but he was wolfing for quite a bit. My vent is when he comes from the barber and instead of washing his hair and head immediately he curls up close purposely to cover me in the trimmings! Ugh

This sounds awful (which I guess it must be if it sounds it), but I've forbidden my husband from growing facial hair. He can't grow a full beard (he can grow a neckbeard but that's it), and his mustache is thin and straggly. During school breaks he'll try and grow something and it just always looks awful. He's just not physically capable of growing thick facial hair! It's like he's a teenager still!

So, my husband shaves his junk and I find it hilarious now but I was really upset at the beginning. I asked him who he did it for, because at the time I was immediately postpartum and he wasn't coming anywhere near me in a sexual way.

I just saw this and LOL! My husband accidentally gave himself the Lloyd haircut from Dumb and Dumber. He could tell it wasnt going well when he saw my face cringe in the mirror when I walked by

I don't like my husband's current haircut. He's been rocking it for about a year and I just don't like it. But he does so I don't say anything. I assume he'll get sick of it eventually. lol
