I have both for our lending library. The organic is a little softer, but the differences are pretty small. I like the colors the organic comes in though!

@grizz: I figured it would just be a little softer. I tend to like neutral colors too and am drawn towards the navy organic.

@winniebee: I think you're built similar to me from what I remember of your last round of bump pics- I much much preferred the Boba to the ergo.

I have the basic black ergo and love it. It's not soft on the outside, but the liner is still soft. I do wish mine wash a more fun color though! It's still super comfy at 18 months (with my little peanut).

@winniebee: I'm not really sure which one we have (it was a gift) but it's navy and we loved it! Can't wait to break it out again for #2.
DH felt comfortable wearing navy which was nice - I loved the purple pattern one but then he wouldn't have wanted to wear it. Navy also hides stains well.

@scg00387: I'm 5'2 and pre preg was 112 lbs, so definitely petite like you. Buutttt our good friends just gave us an ergo gift card for baby #2 so I'm definitely getting an ergo. Also probably will get a wrap (we have a bjorn which I will use later on). We borrowed a moby for #1 and I liked it but want to look at other wraps too.

@winniebee: ah yes gift card makes it worth it I love some of the petunia pickle bottom prints, not sure if those are included!

We have the original (didn't even know there was an organic...is that the same as the 360?) and we both find it really comfortable...it does fit Dh better though because I have a short torso and narrow shoulders.

@winniebee: we have the performance one and really like it. Dh thought it would be better because the material is breathable and lo runs pretty hot. It is still soft material.

@Mrs. Lion: I saw that one too! I was debating which would be better since we are having a winter baby this time. Hmm

we have the black "options" one (so, not organic). never had an issue with it

@winniebee: I probably wont use the Ergo with the new LO until he is too big for the wrap style carriers. They are so cozy. I had a Boba that I eventually sold, but I still have the DIY one that I made. It worked just as well and cost me about $20 for the material (and for that you get two wraps). No sewing required...you just cut the piece of fabric in half and voila, two wraps!

We have the organic mainly because we wanted that color. It's definitely softer but I'd get either.

I have an organic, but I bought it off the HB Classifieds. It's black so it's kind of hot right now, but we love it.
