For our nephew. They have WAY too many toys. And are WAY into TV and phone/kindle/itouch games.
We got him a slip and slide last year. Part of his older brother's gift this year was a subscription to National Geographic Kids magazine.
Any ideas? Would like to keep to no more then $30.

charlie is really into arts and crafts. it's his favorite thing to do. you could bundle up a bunch of supplies for under $30!
also he loves superhero books of any kind.

@Mrs. Bee: Unfortunately now with both boys, any and all arts and crafts supplies we have given have never been used. Their parents sadly don't encourage anytime of imaginative play.

@Smurfette: how about a gift certificate to a local experience? museum, zoo, etc? tickets to a show? charlie recently went to a puppet show and loved it.

@Mrs. Bee: We did a local zoo type place for them for Christmas. It is a small town so they don't have a ton but that is an idea I could see what I can find. I just hate to buy another toy that ends up on the floor of their room.

At age 4 I started to get my DS a subscription to High Five Magazine - he loves it!!
Movie tickets? I did a popcorn holder (from $ store) added some boxed candy and 2 movie tickets -
iTunes gift card?
