like @artbee i was going to recommend something along the lines of a year pass to a children's museum or aquarium. i'm sure she will get a ton of toys, and none of them will hold her attention very long at that age. a year of trips to a museum or park would be nice, as the parents would be able to watch her experiences change as she grows throughout the year.

not sure when you say 'a bit more' where that puts your price point. but a few ideas for you =)

babies love having their own sized chair to climb in and out of! these ones are great 'cause they're hard to flip over & they're not super babyish. or pottery barn makes nice ones

or if you think she might already have those things, you could do a membership to a children's museum or play center near them.
