@Mamaof2: I have 5 of the 12 kids I have to buy for done. I just happened to see something on Zulily that worked for the girls. Otherwise I wait till after Thanksgiving, unless I see great deals.

I have mixed emotions about it because I love fall and winter, but it is always so busy for us and flies by. Plus it means LO will be a year soon and she won't be my baby much longer.

I like the fall weather, but it is a sad lil reminder at just how fast the last quarter of the year will go with a holiday each month.
@Smurfette: @ValentineMommy: I'm nervous to see how DS will react to Santa this year also since he'll be 18 months and is starting to have stranger danger. Looks like I'll be getting my first big cry face Santa picture this year....

@Alivoo01: why did I not realize our kids are only 3 months apart? Why did I think he was younger?
R was 9 months last year and we backed her up to him. So she didn't see him till she was in his lap. It worked. But she freaked over the Easter bunny.

I love fall - the temperature, the colours, the clothes - but I'm not at all looking forward to Christmas creeping up.

I have a love/hate relationship with October. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I hate, hate HATE winter (I get SAD really bad too, which doesn't help) so October makes me anxious knowing that winter is on its way.

Hooray! I started a little bit already but now
I am officially allowed to get all Halloweeny up in this joint! My husband won't let me go crazy till October 1st! November 1st will absolutely be the beginning of Christmas in my mind even though I'm sure ill be forced to wait till after thanksgiving to truly start putting things out.

I love fall! October is my birthday month and I like to think it kicks off all the fun fall holidays.
I already have LO's Halloween costume. Patting myself on the back for checking that off the list way early this year. She's going to be Snow White!
Super excited for Xmas this year too...she will be 22 months and hopefully will understand a lot more!

I'm really excited! November is going to be an amazing month for us. And we have a lot going on in October too. I really enjoy passing out candy to all the neighborhood kids.
