We are in a two bed condo. 3 would be much much better, but they aren't that common in our neighborhood and are $$$.

2 bedrooms and 2 baths....the 2 bathrooms are pretty rare in my neighborhood. It's the perfect size for us right now.

4 bedrooms and 4 baths. But one bedroom is off the living room and the old owners put in french doors, so it isn't private. We use it is as the playroom.
One bath is in the basement. The only part of the basement finished right now so we never use it. Once the basement is finished, we will have 6 bedrooms.

We rent a 3 bed/2.5 bath house. We are looking to buy and we can afford a 2 bed/1 bath, but most houses we've seen have a basement as well. That seems like it will work for the next 5 years or so, and then we can think about upgrading!

Well current bedrooms is 3. But there are rooms that are used for storage or my craft room or man room or office that could be used for bedrooms. But for now, just 3.

3 bed 1.5 bath. We have a toilet room in our basement (so weird!) I've never lived in a home with more than one bathroom.

@MaryM: I'm with you! We have a two bedroom two bath apartment right now. I was at a friends house over the weekend who had four bedrooms three bathrooms and it just seems so luxurious.

2 Bedroom 2 bath apt for now, and when we finally buy we are hoping for 4 bedroom 2.5 baths!

We have 3 bedrooms.
Would love 4 bedrooms + office in our next home!

@SweetiePie: One room will be an office, so it won't be quite as luxurious, but going from shared apartments to a master and guest room to a master, guest room, kids room, AND office...man that's just insane!

@PurplePeony: same 4/2. I love only have two bathrooms to keep tidy although a half bath close to the family room would be convenient.
@Rainbow Sprinkles: 4 +office/den would be perfect for us too.

@MaryM: Totally! We would even really love to have three bedrooms, so that we have a master, the baby's room, and a guest room/office. Once we had our son my husband's desk went into our bedroom and we no longer have anywhere for guests to stay. And that's hard because my family lives out of town. But three bedrooms are so hard to come by in this city!

Currently 2/1, but we're moving to a 3/2 in a few weeks!

@SweetiePie: That's what we'd hoped when we started looking. But the house we found is so much more than we ever imagined. I think house shopping is 90% luck.

4 bed/3.5 bath. I live in the Midwest where space isn't a concern when buying a home!

@chopsuey: We have a 3 bedroom 1 bath house, we own. We currently use one room for us, one room for office, and one for a guest room that will be the nursery.
We also have an unfinished basement, that when finished will add another bathroom and bedroom
