I was just browsing through the Babywrappers of the hive thread and realized that we need a board dedicated to babywearing. I am by no means an expert babywearer - but I would like to be! I think it would help if there was a board where all the posts that are now spread out in "parenting" and "gear" (both very general, broad categories) were in one place.

Right now, I'm not sure there's not enough thread activity to justify a separate babywearing board... but we can definitely try one out and if things pick up, we can keep it around!

@mrbee: there are so many posts in "gear" that could go in there too. Like if you searched for posts that contain words like beco, ergo, moby, tula, mei tai, woven wrap, (and so many more). would be so helpful for people who are looking to buy gear for babywearing.

@mrbee: thanks, i love that they are all together! It probably would have helped me when i was pregnant and needed to decide on a carrier. I went with a baby bjorn because i didn't know any better......
In the same vein, a "Stroller" board would probably be quite large as well. People often say it is one of their most important purchases while pregnant. then there are upgrades, strollers for different purposes, double strollers, etc. If that existed in the past I might also have made a different stroller choice! what do you think?

@californiadreams: yah been planning on that one too! It's just a bit daunting because moving all those threads is a lot of work. Currently reworking the "media & tech" category into "technology" and "tv/movies"... once that's done, we'll get the Gear subdivision going too!

@heartonastring: oh I understand it being gold for sure. I could have made a separate post for people comfortable posting in non gold if I was being proactive. So I can't be too much of a complainer.
