at home. What would you choose?
We're celebrating my birthday this weekend and I can't decide what I want. Saturday is supposed to be beautiful so I would love to grill out. But can't decide what; that both girls would also eat well. Hashtag parent problems! 
Eating dinner out with the girls just isn't relaxing.

The Korean food post makes me crave Korean food! If grilling, can he do like a faux k-bbq? Maybe with japchae, soup, dumplings... So the girls have plenty of options?

Chicken and dressing, cranberry sauce, giblet gravy, sweet potato casserole (pecan topping not marshmallows), slow cooked green beans, and a deviled egg. Basically Thanksgiving. It's my favorite.
ETA: but right now raw sushi, because I'm pregnant and can't have it.

@Mamaof2: haha that's what I wanted last year! SO good. I definitely want corn on the cob.
@snowjewelz: lol that does sound good. But cooking that would be 85% me. too bad we don't have a really good Korean restaurant around any more. But might do that Sunday since it's supposed to be cold and rainy.
@Keybee: yum! Medium rare please. 
We just had a lot of steak last weekend when my nephews were here since they're carnivores!
@youboots: mmmm something in the smoker does sound good. Nothing time intensive since we'll be out most of the day.

Lasagna, although it does use the oven. Growing up for my birthday I'd always ask for lasagna and ceaser salad. My mom used to even make the dressing from scratch,

@PinkElephant: In NY you can't pick! I used to loooove all you can eat kbbq.. Now I lean more towards BCD (soondoobu) places. Or specialty places like ones that serve all goat, one that has like a special all pork bbq course, etc!

Grilled salmon, pasta with pesto, garlic bread toasted on the grill, some sort of veggie. Maybe corn on the cob, steamed green beans, or a sautée of green beans, bell peppers and onions with balsamic.
