I used to love working, but after having two kids, I constantly dream about working less. I'm always so pooped!
If I won the lottery (enough to retire), I would definitely take some time off, but I think I would want to work at least part-time. I do enjoy working and love starting something new. In fact maybe I would enjoy working more because I could hire someone to cook and clean instead! 
If you won the lottery, would you continue working?

Probably not at my current job, but I'd like to volunteer and/or start my own company I'd def be working tho.

I'd like to continue working part-time if I could! I really like my job (and my coworkers), so I'd want to keep working! Just not 40 hours a week, haha.

Nope. Before LO, I probably would have said yes. I love teaching and obviously don't do it for the money, but my dream right now is to be a SAHM.

I know exactly what I would do and yes it does involve me working. I would maybe work 4 days per week though and have an extra day with my girl!

I think I'd do part-time/freelance work of my choosing. I certainly would never again do a job I didn't want to do.
As for DH I think he'd probably try and hire someone to do his job at least part time so he could relax more (this is already the plan for one day in the future, but a lottery win would definitely help that happen sooner).

It depends on how big the lottery payout is. If it's absolutely enormous I know DH wants to start a biz with the money so I would probably work on that with him. If it is a smaller one then I might continue to do my same job but I would probably work less hours and retire way earlier.

No way!!! I'd just text my boss and say I won the lottery and it's not an April Fool's joke and I'm sorry but...I'm done. Okay, maybe I would do that after I came in and cleared out my stuff. I would get involved with some charities and do volunteer work.

Maaaaybe... I'm a wedding planner with my own business, so maybe I would just take 5 or 6 really good weddings every year to keep myself occupied. I would want to find some fun hobbies! (like what hobbies, I have no idea...)

No; Id take on specific volunteer projects though and other things that would be one-off opportunities, etc. Id take classes, go back to school.
I'm always surprised that so many people say they would open their own business - that's definitely lots more work than 40 hours a week!!

Not only would iquit working, i would hire a cook, maid and personal assistant so I wouldn't have todo any chores!
I do love my job and my coworkers, but I would much rather stay home with dh and ds all day and go on lots of vacations

I would quit my job, and open up a franchise business like a yoga studio or a barre studio. Take classes to get certified, travel, etc. I'd be doing something but not the 9-5 grind!

Depending on how much money I won, I would start a foundation of some sort. I would travel part time with LO(s) and work at the foundation half time.

Not my job! If I had won enough, then I might "work" at charities or start my own foundation. I'm not sure what I'd do - but my SIL has some pretty lofty dreams that I would be willing to fund

i would work part time max of 3 days per week, 5 hour days.
i basically want time to exercise, spend time with my kids, cook and clean. well i guess if i won the lottery i could hire a maid and cook, so maybe i would push it to 6 hour days
I also want to sleep 8 hours a night and have time for fun. But otherwise, i like my job....I would also be a SAHM until my second (and last) kid was about 3 years old.
