@Mrs.Pinecone316: Phooey...I'm so, so sorry that you're hurting so badly. I really hope you "peak" now, so you can start feeling better soon. Are you spending the days on bed rest or propped up on the couch?
@macintosh: Ugh...that sounds like the last thing in the world you needed. Take it easy, hydrate (a LOT), and take care of yourself these last few days! Can anyone else take DH to therapy?

@FliegepilzHut: sigh...no. We have no family here. I'm the one and only. Wife, caregiver, cook, maid, handyman, chauffer. I can't get anyone to really help me unless I pay them. Wheelchair accessible transportation is really expensive. So we make due

@momazon: I'm glad that you are working with a guaranteed program and have more cycles. Hopefully your doctor will have some ideas about what the next steps should be.
Thanks for chiming in on the symptoms, I am slightly terrified of my boobs getting bigger, they are not small to begin with
@FliegepilzHut: Thanks! I hope things go as well as they can on Friday
@macintosh: I'm sorry things are so rough. I know how important the PT is but if you can't do it tomorrow then don't worry about it, you need to take care of yourself.

@jaguar: I'm so sorry. I hope everything goes as well as it can today.

@Mrs.Pinecone316: I hope your doctor is right and that your OHSS is peaking and will get better from here.

@mrswin: Thank you, dear! Not everyone gets the breast stuff, either, thankfully. Did you have breast pain/sensitivity after your trigger?

@FliegepilzHut: thank you! I've been taking it really easy, to the point where I feel a little lazy. But I do have a reason to get out if the house tomorrow - monitoring!
@mrswin: thank you. I know you're right. I would feel bad if he missed Tuesday PT because he will likely miss Thursday PT too. I am crazy to consider taking him to PT true afternoon after my ER, right?
Unlike you though, I would be so ok with going up a cup size, I'm only a B cup. I'm already getting soreness from the stims. DH bumped me accidentally and it hurt! I'm used to never wearing a bra around the house.

@mrswin: We scheduled the consult to occur before my next cycle and with a different RE (same office though) so that all tests needed can be scheduled soon. Otherwise, our consult would not have been until September with my regular RE. I forgot to ask but when is your EDD?
@macintosh: You are one tough and strong woman to have to go through all this. I hope you are able to take a breather every so often.
@Sunshine1810: Thank you! I hope so as well. Yikes about the mixup regarding the meds. I hope it does get better!
@Jenn23: FX for some great news from you soon!
@momazon: I'm sorry about your chemical. I hope your WTF appt on Friday yields some helpful info.
@jaguar: I'm sorry for your loss.

@macintosh: You won't be able to take him to PT after your retrieval, I am assuming you will be sedated for the procedure so you will still be really sleepy and stuff. Also you will need to rest because your body will have been through a lot. Are you not required to have someone take you home after? I wasn't allowed to drive for 24 hours after or take public transit. You should definitely chat with a nurse and find out what their procedure is.

@mrswin: I know about the procedure, I'll be having a friend take me. I only had the thought for a minute about taking him to PT, then told myself no. I am hoping I won't feel too sleepy though. I had surgery last year - a hysteroscopic septum removal - and I felt fine that evening except for all the cramping.

@macintosh: depending on the number of eggs they get, you may feel more sore than sleepy. That was my experience both times - it hurt to stand up straight or lay on my side for the first day. My impression was that it was in part due to the larger # of eggs (16 & 19). Good luck!

@lazypanda: That's great! I know at my clinic they will sometimes do a SHG before you start IVF but you will have time for anything that you need to do My due date is April 14th

@macintosh: Sorry! I hope my earlier post didn't come across the wrong way, I was just concerned. I know you have a lot on your plate with your DH's recovery and IVF. I'm glad you have someone taking you. I would give yourself the day to rest afterward because like @Shutterbug: I was pretty sore for the rest of the day but I felt good enough to go back to work on the following day (desk job).

@momazon: Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear that. Thinking of you!! I'm so glad you have more tries available at your clinic.

@jaguar: I'm sorry for your loss. Thinking of you!!
@macintosh: I felt so sick during stims. Could barely walk, so sleepy...I know it is rough. If you are anything like me, you'll feel much better after the retrieval!! Hang in there. You are almost there!!!

@Mrs.Pinecone316: Oh my! I'm so, so sorry you are feeling so sick. What do they do for you at the ER? Just different medicines? I really hope you are on your way to feeling better. ((hugs))
@mrswin: I didn't feel any nausea or other symptoms until about 6 weeks. I remember during week 5 I didn't have any clear symptoms. I bet you'll feel something in the next week or two!! Oh, and my boobs grew a whole size during pregnancy!!
OK, so there is a faint line. Still not getting my hopes up because it is super faint. But my husband did see it tonight, whereas the one last night I saw something and he couldn't see it. So I'll try again tonight and tomorrow morning and hope to see a darker 2nd line then!!

Thanks, guys! Just read my post and realized I said my husband saw it tonight. I meant this morning! I keep going over and staring at it. I've probably looked at it 100 times in the last three hours. I'm so nervous!!!! I'd post a pic, but not nearly dark enough for you all to see, yet. Hopefully tonight's or tomorrow morning's line will be darker!!!

@Sunshine1810: Thanks!!!!
@swedishfish: I just tried to take a pic with my phone, but when I hold the phone up close it is too blurry to see the 2nd line. Hopefully, I'll have a darker line later today or at least by tomorrow morning. Will post a pic then!!! Ahh! I'm so excited.

@Jenn23: YAY!!! So happy to you've got a second line. FX it just keeps getting darker! Basically in the ER they just checked all my labs to make sure everything looked ok, which for the most part it did and gave me more pain medicine. The ER doc was more worried about me than my RE. The RE only really cares about my labs, not how miserable I am..
Thanks everyone for the support. OHSS is no joke!! Just have to keep reminding myself this WILL GET BETER.

also @mrswin -- how far along are you? I am sorry -- I am late to the party and just catching up on the postings. I am almost 7 weeks and feel NOTHING -- in fact, I feel great! No m/s, no soreness, no peeing a lot, etc. I seriously feel normal -- I hope that is ok, like you
My first u/s looking for a heartbeat is Thursday -- I'm a little nervous but I've also realized that there will be tests and hurdles to overcome each step of the way, so the sooner I can put aside my constant worrying the better off I will be.
Best wishes to you!!!

@Mrs.Pinecone316: Are you still stuck in bed or can you move around? I hope your turning point is today!!!
@mopeybuthopey: Good to see you on this thread!! Many women don't have any symptoms, so definitely try not to worry! My mom didn't feel pregnant with me for quite some time. No morning sickness, felt great! I'm excited about your ultrasound!!
So I took a dollar tree test and only got a super faint line after the window was up. Probably after 10 or 15 minutes. I didn't count. Today just needs to go faster so I can test again later tonight and especially tomorrow morning!! I feel so anxious and worried about all of this and just need to know.

you are brave testing early @jenn23!!! I was too afraid of a negative pregnancy test and it made my stomach churn, haha. In fact, I still haven't peed on a stick!!! The less of those things I have to deal with the better.
But I totally understand that for some of us, knowing sooner is best! I think the fact that you have gotten a positive at all is a good sign -- perhaps you could purchase a FRER/more sensitive test so that you have a better idea? You could also call your RE and let them know. They may allow you to come in earlier
I saw your RE doesn't test until 17dpo, and I feel your pain -- mine didn't test until 14 days post transfer, which was 19DPO . Agony!!!
Best wishes

@Jenn23: I think you are totally PUPO. Try to relax and be optimistic!!!

@mopeybuthopey: I have no patience and knew I'd be testing like crazy. I've used all the First Response's but they cost so much compared to the $ tests, so that's why I thought I'd switch for now. Because I'm not testing just in the morning, but like 3x a day! So I burned through like $30 in tests in less than two days. I figure one dollar at a time isn't a big deal. My RE wouldn't let me come in early, so I just have to wait until next Monday! Wow, so yours was a really late beta!!

@FliegepilzHut: Thanks! I am optimistic, but still anxious and worried, too. haha But that's my personality anyway, so I wouldn't expect any different.

Line came up in two minutes just now!! Much easier to see. I'm so excited and can't wait to show my husband when he gets home from work in a few minutes. AHHH!! Took a pic with my cell, but it's harder to see the line then in person. Not sure if this will work, but I'll post it.

Thanks! I'm so excited I can hardly sit still! Where is my husband?!! I can't wait to show him!! Figures he is late from work today. Thanks for all the support, ladies. It means so much to me!!

@Jenn23: That's a nice looking line! Not hard to see at all. I am thrilled for you
