@Shutterbug: I have to ask this - does the trigger shot hurt? Is this one you put into your stomach?

@babycanuck: it can be either intramuscular (in the bum - ouch!) or subcutaneous (stomach). Mine was subcutaneous and I didn't even feel it. I've done two kinds now, Ovidrel for my IUIs and Novarel tonight, but they're both basically the same, and both subcutaneous. In fact, through all of my IVF I haven't done any IM shots, which I'm super grateful for, haha.

@babycanuck: well I should clarify that DH does all my shots. Before my IF I was such a baby... I fainted once after a flu shot!

@babycanuck: I hope your hubby can do it. Of all my shots I gave myself 2 and it was horrible! But I got through it. We women are strong. We do what we gotta do.

@babycanuck: my trigger shots just stung a bit, and were sore only to touch. I injected in the stomach, and would have felt more nervous about trusting someone else to do it!
@shutterbug: home stretch! Do you feel bloated? Are you still heading to the shower tomorrow?

@Happygal: I do feel pretty bloated. The US tech this morning was like, 'you must be feeling pretty full with all those follicles' ummm yup! I am going to the shower tomorrow... I'm excited for it, I hope I don't get any 'you're next!' comments haha

So...I have a definite but very faint bfp!
I think it's not worth posting pics because you'll all say you can't see it and that'll just make me sad. But I promise it's there in person, color and all. Both wondfo and frer. I'm happy but also waiting until it's darker to show DH so I have to remain calm. I had hopes that I'd hold out and POAS with DH present and we'd see a beautiful vibrant line together. As I said, I have no willpower! So I at least want to wait a day or two and then show him when it's more obvious.

Ah, what the hell. Here's a pic. It's strange, the frer showed up pretty quickly, within 5 mins. The wondfo took a longer time to develop, around 10 mins, but I feel like now it's easier to see than frer. I think because it doesn't have a layer of plastic on it the way frer does...the plastic causes a glare.
