I still haven't told my husband. He's not really familiar with all this POAS jazz so he'll see a faint line and think its a bad thing or not believe it at all. So I'm just going to wait until its undeniable.
Hoping its a smidge darker tomorrow.

@SweetiePie: Yay! I see a line for sure I can't believe that you haven't told your DH, I have the worst poker face so I probably couldn't pull it off for even 5 minutes haha!

@SweetiePie: go buy a digital that says pregnant! That, I'm sure, he will understand! Lol.

@tequiero21: Well I have a stockpile of Digis. I have like 15 of them! They were on crazy sale this summer so I bought 3 boxes of 5! Ha. I tried one this morning but it was a bfn. Will try another tomorrow...might as well! Not like I'm low on supply!

@SweetiePie: AAAAAAAA!!!! (High pitched scream)Congrats!! I see it! You my lady, are knocked up! Please post the "pregnant" once it shows up on your digi. Ok, you say you have no willpower but to keep it a secret from your DH proves otherwise! I don't think I'd last 5 seconds.

@shutterbug: 16 eggs! Go you! Rest up and catch up on some good TV!
I am 7 wks 3 days today and shortly after lunch, I went to the restroom and saw a gush of bright red blood on my panty liner. To say that I gasped and freaked out is an understatement. I feel fine for the most part except that I have this weird feeling in my uterus. But no cramps or anything. I have an appt with my RE tmrw morning to see what's going on. They told me to go home early from work if I could and lay in bed today. Has anyone heard about something like this happening and then going on to have a healthy pregnancy? I'm nervous for the twins.

@msmug: I had the same thing happen right around the same time. Don't stress, it really was nothing. Mr Dr. speculated it may have been withdrawal from the progesterone or a SCH. Subsequent loss was at 13ish weeks and completely unrelated.

@Shutterbug: yay, great report!!! Hope things go well with the fertilization!
honeydew / 7463 posts
@Shutterbug: Wow that's AWESOME! Go you (and your ovaries)!
@msmug: Wow, I would have freaked out too! That was probably really scary. But it sounds like your doc wasn't too concerned so I hope you're able to stay calm! (Easier said than done!)
Good luck at the RE and let us know how it goes!
honeydew / 7916 posts
@msmug: For me the gush was (they think) related to a yeast infection - so pleasant! And also possibly related to some constipation-related straining on top of my cervix already being angry. Hope everything is okay!

@Shutterbug: 16 - amazing!!! Hope you are resting up after that ER! FX for an equally awesome fert report!

@msmug: Yikes that sounds nerve wracking. I'm glad your RE can get you in quickly! I'm sending good thoughts to you and your babies!

@apex, @sweetiepie, @spaniellove, @twodoghouse: thanks for the support, reassurance, and sharing your experiences. I hope it's nothing serious and everything looks OK tomorrow. I'm so nervous for tomorrow morning's appt, but am grateful they could see me.
I'm also thankful that I have a flexible work environment and I could leave early today because I was on the verge of bursting into tears, esp when I called dh to let him know I was leaving early today.

Hey @msmug:--keep us updated and let us know how things go. I'm sorry you have that stressful experience and hope everything is just fine.

@apex, @sweetiepie, @spaniellove, @twodoghouse, @happygal:
DH and I are SO relieved after our appt this morning. The RE confirmed that it was a blood clot and that your body either absorbs the blood, or it leaks out. He said it's especially common with multiples, and showed me on the u/s where the blood was pooling. He also said that some of it could be due to the suppository irritating the cervix. So you ladies were right! Thanks again for sharing your experiences! Don't know what I'd do without DH and yall to help calm me down!

I just got my fert report and 8 of the 16 fertilized. I was hoping for a bit more, but hey, I have 8 embryos!! We have a tentative transfer scheduled for Thursday afternoon, but we're hoping to push that out to Saturday (they apparently schedule a tentative day 3 transfer for all couples trying for a day 5 transfer). I'll get another update tomorrow.
honeydew / 7968 posts
@Shutterbug: I think that's a great fertilization number. I had 8 of 19! So 50% sounds awesome!
Why do they tentatively schedule 3 day for all those shooting for 5 day? I had a 3 day transfer and worked out great for us.
honeydew / 7230 posts
@Shutterbug: Yay for a great fertilization report!
Edited to add: Our office also prefers to do a 5 day transfer, but it just depends on how many embryos we have and how they are growing. We ended up with a 3 day transfer, which I was a little worried about at first, but both of the ones we transferred stuck!
honeydew / 7968 posts
@twodoghouse: I read they did an independent study and there is no difference in results for 3 days vs 5 days. The 5 days have better percentages cuz lot of doctors push the 3 days to 5 days. Something like that.
