I'm 4w4d so the nurse that called said its excellent and better than I needed it to be. Such a relief!

I'm waiting for my 2nd beta now. Gosh I hope it doubled! At least I've stopped POAS-ing since my first beta @Shutterbug: How are you hanging in there? Test anything yet? Trigger or otherwise?
I'm such an enabler.

@SweetiePie: hey! I tested this morning (4dp5dt) and it was negative, so now I know the trigger is out of my system at least. Honestly though I'm not too optimistic... The other two embryos they were watching didn't make it to freeze, so I can't help but feel like this one is probably bad quality too. Ah well. I'll keep testing for the next few days, and beta's on Monday. Congrats again on the big beta #! Good luck with todays!

@Shutterbug: Its good that you know the trigger is out so any BFP you get is for real! And its still EARLY! Its the same as 9dpo!

@Shutterbug: You are still so early - don't count yourself out yet! It's great that you know that your trigger is out of your system though. That way you'll know when you see that second line that it's the real deal!

He's still cautious but he's talking more about "when" instead of "if". And he doesn't shut me down if I talk about it! Which is a big improvement, haha.

@Shutterbug: 4dp5dt would be early to see a positive! This way you won't have to stress out about whether any line was from leftover trigger. I wouldn't count anything out!!

Ahhhh, you guys! I still don't have my 2nd beta result. Monday they called by 11:30am (only 3 hours after my draw). Today nothing and I'm in a meeting from 2-4p. I called and left a VM at 1:30 and I'm afraid they are dreading calling me because its bad news

@SweetiePie: There could be a million reasons why they haven't called yet and it doesn't necessarily mean bad news! I know it's impossible, but try not to stress. My fingers are crossed for you!

@SweetiePie: don't stress! Where are you located? Could it be weather-related (that they're understaffed today?) I know my RE's office is all over the place with when they call back. Good luck!

@SweetiePie: I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to their timing! I used to make up theories about why they weren't calling and honestly the only thing that made sense was that they make people with first betas a priority so they don't chew off their fingernails. But timing has NOTHING to do with your results and I bet they're great!!

Thanks friends I had an otherwise pretty crappy day so this just turned it back around. @twodoghouse: First ultrasound is scheduled for next Thursday, 1/30! TTC and IF is just so full of torturous waits! How will I make it to Thursday without bursting!?!

@Apex: You know, of course I've been googling beta #s like crazy since Monday and they do seem really high! Today the nurse that drew my blood didn't have my chart and I told her my first draw number. She assumed I transferred 2!
I know that the odds are that I just have one strong little bugger in there, but my mind wanders to the fact that I had 2 embryos split before the PGD so I can't help but wonder
But It's just fun to imagine! I know it's not likely at all. -

@LovelyPlum: There are mixed stats about the odds increasing with icsi and/or assisted hatching. But even the studies that do say it's higher, it's still only like 1-3% chance (that's the range I saw anyhow). So it really is unlikely, but it happens!
I think I just have one strong little poppy seed in there, just fighting away -
@SweetiePie: well, twins would be way cool, but a strong poppyseed is absolutely just as good. Grow, baby, grow!!! This one is a fighter, I can feel it

@msmug: Haha thanks. I was really really tempted to go to my GP today and ask for another beta just to see what another 48 hours did :-)(I've been getting them at the RE but my GP is awesome and did voluntary betas for me last pregnancy). But I'm trying to just hold out till Thursdays scan!
I still feel nothing! No symptoms at all. I'd think with high beta numbers AND progesterone supplements I'd feel something. But nada!
