@FliegepilzHut: I tested out my trigger which helped me. I was also busy at work so that kept my mind off of things. I took walks and spent time with my family.

@swedishfish: I'm not a big POAS kind of gal... And I will be going back to work in a couple of days...that will definitely keep my mind off of things! Only 9 days left until my beta, though....

@FliegepilzHut: 9 days?? You could POAS and know for sure by Friday (7dp5dt). Girl, you have some restraint! I just tried to keep it out of my mind, but I also tested basically from 4dpt on, so it was a short TWW.

@Shutterbug: Wow! That's pretty amazing... I may or may not have that kind of restraint! And it all depends on whether I start "feeling" pregnant or having pregnancy dreams...

@Mrs.Pinecone316: The nervousness is totally normal! I had it, too. You will get "used" to it. Promise!!
@FliegepilzHut: The TWW after IVF is brutal, but since you did a Day 5 (I did before, too), the wait isn't as long at least!! Thinking good thoughts for you!!

@mrswin: Already wrote on the other thread about your cyst, but in case anybody else in the future sees this here, there is sometimes an option to just have the cyst drained at retrieval. My RE did that for our previous IVF and will do it again probably next month since I have another cyst this time as well. So you are starting Friday. Yay! Almost there!!

@GreenThumb: Good luck at your ultrasound tomorrow. So exciting, both about the FET and the upcoming move! This will be a busy month for you!

@Shutterbug: I started testing early, too. I couldn't wait for the beta test even had I tried.
I found out at 5dp5dt. Very faint, but I knew it wasn't the trigger since I had tested that out already.

@Jenn23: Gosh, that's soon! I think I feel better waiting, though. Thanks for the good thoughts!

@Jenn23: Thanks! I saw your comment and replied! When are you starting stims? You have to wait for AF again right?

@FliegepilzHut: So excited for you!! Great news about having frozen embies, too!!
@mrswin: I'm so happy that you are moving ahead! That is wonderful news!!
@Jenn23: Thank you!
@Mrs.Pinecone316: Wishing you all the best for starting stims! I think I was more nervous before I started the stims and felt a sense of calmness once I started. Since you are seen quite often for checks, I knew I just had to make it to the next check and I would be ok once I got a progress report. Nervousness/excitement are kind of interchangeable, right?!
AFM: I had my U/S this morning to check my lining and they were really thrilled with an 11 mm thickness and a triple stripe. So we are good to go for next Tuesday. I was doing all kinds of detective work to see if I had written down/emailed/HB posted what my lining was last time and I can't find it anywhere, so I will have to just be satisfied with what it is this time!

@GreenThumb: Thank you! That sounds like a great lining! FX for your successful FET!!!

@GreenThumb: Great news!! So next Tuesday is your big day! Will be thinking good thoughts for you guys!

@swedishfish: Thanks, glad it got easier as the days went on. @Jenn23: Thanks!
@GreenThumb: Yes nervousness and excitement are so interchangeable! SO glad your uterine lining is looking perfect! Yay for tuesday!!
AFM.. Still spotting.. just waiting and more waiting for AF. Funny how the early TTC days how upset I would be when I started my period because it meant no baby, but now I am looking forward to AF so we can get our baby.. The weird world of infertility!

Hey everyone,
This morning DH and I had all necessary bloods done in preparation for our 1st IVF appt (29 July). I'd had some of the tests done along the way, but still had to have 8 vials of blood drawn and sent off, sheesh. Another small step done and dusted

Did my first Gonal F injection last night. It was pretty easy. I go on Monday for my first check and then I will start Garnellix (?) at some point. I have a call in to the RE but do you ladies think it is a big deal that my AF just started this morning? I stopped BCP last Sunday.

@Robyn_ZA: your appointment will be here in no time. Hopefully they are able to give you a schedule and get you IVF underway

@mrswin: I'm pretty sure I started stims while still on my period.

@swedishfish: Thanks! The nurse said it is normal and to follow my schedule

@mrswin: glad it's normal... I started stims like day 3 or 5? And my period was only a day so I wasn't on it when I starting stimming.

@mrswin: Just checked...my IVF "period" (after stopping BCPs) lasted for 4 days. Started stims on the 3rd day!

Anyone want to reassure me that 9dp5dt is too early for any "symptoms"? When did you start having early pregnancy symptoms after IVF?
GOLD / coconut / 8266 posts
@FliegepilzHut: girl, I would've POAS by now if I were you. I am fairly certain that my only symptom that early was "heavier" breasts. Everything else came later.
pear / 1986 posts
@FliegepilzHut: I can't remember when exactly I started with symptoms, but I definitely remember thinking I didn't feel pregnant at all for a good few weeks after the transfer. You are amazing for holding out!! Can't wait to hear your news!!
I unfortunately came down with a cold this weekend so I'm just laying low and resting up for Tuesday. That's in TWO days!!
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@swedishfish: Yeah...DH just went out of town and we've agreed to wait until he's back...so Weds morning? I can't remember how things felt this early before (but I think I tested about 8 days after my missed period, by which time my breasts were getting sore, dreams were getting weirder than usual, and I was starting to get up at night to pee...and cramping, I think)... *sigh*.
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@GreenThumb: Good! Maybe it's not too late... Don't know why I'm losing it now...maybe just overflow stress from work?
Wow, that is in 2 days!!! Hope you feel better quickly! FX for a quick, easy, and successful transfer!
GOLD / coconut / 8266 posts
@FliegepilzHut: ok, so here's what we will do. You'll test and then send me a picture but you can't look at it! Haha, you have willpower.
@GreenThumb: ugh, I hope you feel better soon! Rest up!

@FliegepilzHut: I think that it's a good sign that you're 9dp5dt and haven't gotten AF... I didn't make it that far with either failed IVF cycle. Good luck for Wednesday!
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@swedishfish: Hahahahaha...
@Shutterbug: I'll take that! Thank you!
nectarine / 2433 posts
@FliegepilzHut: I think the other ladies are right, its a good sign you don't have AF. FX you get good news on Wednesday morning
@GreenThumb: I hope you are feeling better! only one more day

Had a monitoring appointment today and have 7 follicles ( ?) so far. Waiting for a call from the nurse with instructions.
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@mrswin: Thanks! I'm trying to be optimistic...
Which day of stims is this for you? Did they say how big the follies were? Hope you get a good word from the clinic! Please keep us updated!
nectarine / 2433 posts
@FliegepilzHut: I am hoping good things for you
All the follicles this morning were +/- 8mm so very early still. Tonight will be my fourth night of stims.
pear / 1556 posts
@mrswin: I think that is fine. I didn't have an u/s until I was stimming for 6 days and I think my largest were 10...maybe 12 at that point? I had blood work on day 4.
@FliegepilzHut: FX for you!!!
nectarine / 2433 posts
@Sunshine1810: Thanks! I'm more concerned that there are only 7 right now than the size. I'm going to ask the nurse when she calls.
