Does anyone else watch YouTube videos of live pregnancy tests or is it just me?

@mrskansas: Haha, I think I watched one or two last year when we first started trying, but nothing since then. I don't go on youtube that often.

@knittylady: Search it on YouTube! I know I probably sound like a crazy person.. but some of the videos show the actual test as it develops. I love watching a line appear!

    I have a problem

We're not intensively tracking much of anything except my women time for the pass few months. Based on the fertile window I've attached, when would you BD? Would you BD your whole fertile window or skip a day or only the higher days? Sorry I feel so new at this since DD is almost 5.

@patientlywaiting19: if I were you, I would shoot for EOD starting today. My OB told us that men can't keep up with every day BDing and keep producing high quality swimmers! Good luck!!!

@mrskansas: I totally do that! I love seeing those two pink lines!

@mrskansas: Confession: I looked it up after you mentioned it, watched a couple videos, took a nap while DS was sleeping and had a dream that I got a BFP. 😂

Anybody else feel like the wait for July is soooooo long? Something about this month I'm just so antsy. I should ovulate next week and it is going to be a looooong two week wait!

@bhbee: YES!!!!! I'm feeling sooo impatient

  20. bhbee

    cantaloupe / 6086 posts

@knittylady: I think it's partly because I'm pinning so many hopes on this month. Which I shouldn't be since we still won't have great timing

The TWW is dragging for me. I'm 5 DPO and so glad we leave for our trip tonight or I would go crazy!

@bhbee: I'm feeling super impatient, too! June seemed to fly by until CD1 for me, now I feel like time is crawling

Alright, so I have a question...we've been BD EOD since cd 10 (I'm cd 18 today and we did BD today.) If I typically get my first positive OPK from 12-16 dpo, do I really need to BD 20 dpo? I'm not using opks this month.

  24. bhbee

    cantaloupe / 6086 posts

@Coral: I'm going to say no ... even if your o was outside the usual range 20 seems unlikely to matter. Plus I'd be exhausted!

Also, I need better things to do on Friday night than hellobee

Tonight I informed dh of our super sexy upcoming bd schedule he's going to be out of town during my likely opk+ again, so we'll just have to do before and after and hope for the best. I actually asked him to make his travel plans as narrow as possible to get us the best shot so I hope it pays off!

@bhbee: Seriously!! I told my husband I was "over it" and hurt his feelings. Whoops.

As for exciting Friday night plans, I totally understand. I'm watching Suits and am so happy it's past bedtime.

I hope your DH can make his trip as short as possible!

    Cycle Day: CD1
    TTC Cycle: 1st post-loss
Ovulation Date: normally between CD 10-16 prior to first pregnancy
    POAS Date: estimated 7/21
    Baby #:1
What's up this month: So excited to be joining - after a 40 day cycle after my loss - it's the first time since we started to ttc that I feel relief to have AF come today. This month may be a long month of BD as my trusty Ovia app predicts a later fertile time due to such a long cycle following the miscarriage. So I'm guessing ovulation will be more like a normal 28 day cycle that I've always had prior to the loss but will probably cover the bases for the extended time in case I ovulate later than normal. DH may get a bit whiny at the end like he did the cycle we conceived. Also, happily, this month the TWW will be mainly during our vacation in Scotland so that should make the time go by faster than normal.
For Fun: Favorite hot weather recipe? chicken salad with grapes on a bed of lettuce - one of my favorite dinner options on these 90 degree days we're having in Germany this week.

I give up. My chart is erratic. My OPKs are unreliable (this far out from Femara). I'm just gonna wait to get AF unless I decide to induce it.

I had way too much hope for this cycle.

And to add to my frustration, this is my OPK with FMU this morning. Gahhhh!!!!

@MrsJBeeG: When I got pregnant with my first, we were on vacation during the TWW. I totally think being relaxed that week contributed to my sweet DS! this month!

@Mrs. Oreo: Well that's a confusing data set! That OPK sure looks positive, but it is super late in your cycle...I'm no help in interpreting that!

  31. Mrs. Oreo

    pear / 1677 posts

@HeartAbandoned: Definitely wonky! I'm gonna consider it positive and just keep on truckin'. I have PCOS so it doesn't surprise me that it'll be late in the cycle. I ovulated on CD56 one time!

  32. MrsJBeeG

    clementine / 787 posts

@HeartAbandoned: thanks - I like positive omens so I'm considering this vacation during the tww to be a lucky sign.

  33. bhbee

    cantaloupe / 6086 posts

@MrsJBeeG: yay for af! Nothing like that first af post mc! My next cycle was normal length and ovulation date after a 42 day cycle post d&c. So much for you!

  34. bhbee

    cantaloupe / 6086 posts

@Mrs. Oreo: dang that looks positive! I'm sorry it's been such a long ride but I hope this is it!!

  35. Coral

    clementine / 874 posts

I took an opk just to make sure we could definitely end "fertile week." This (the top) looks negative, right? Just for reference here are last month's tests. The ones with stars next to them were positive according to my digital opks.

@Coral: mine only look that close at the beginning or end of surge. So I guess could still be close. But I think you've covered it well regardless!

  37. Coral

    clementine / 874 posts

@bhbee: You're right. I guess I've never fully tested out my surge before. Since I typically have a 28-31 day cycle, I'm probably good.

CD1 is finally here! I'm ready for my first IUI cycle! I'll be testing on July 23rd!

@Marfi: Yay!!! I am very hopefully that the iui will do the trick for you since so many others on here have been very successful with it. Wishing you all the best!

@bhbee: I tested again and I think you were right. Looks like I just caught the end of my surge yesterday.
