    @organicmama: @Crystal: thank you both. I thought I was abnormally bitchy for finding dh's breathing or constant talking so grating. Or...sometimes it's the noise he makes when he chews. Lol

    @fotolori1: I hate blood draws too. Perhaps more. As soon as I know it's coming I have a look away so I won't know when it's coming. I'm a total flincher!

    @fotolori1: I usually have 30-32 day cycles but O went from CD20-21 to CD18-19 lately. I don't know if it's due to a lack of stress? Last time I was on Clomid, I stated gearing up to O naturally around CD15 so I'm wondering if it'll be the same this time? I had the trigger shot prescribed last time but since we cancelled IUI, never got to use it. I haven't even opened it up! I might make DH do it for me?? Eek!

    @PawPrints: that's great, and definitely something to celebrate!

    @LindsayInNY: FX for you this cycle!!!

    @MaryM: oh goodness, don't get me started on the chewing... Lol

    My temp shot up today (CD22), giving me solid line crosshairs at CD19. Yesterday I had dotted line ones at CD16, so it's nice to know what's going on. It gives us "good" timing, though I'm not sure about that with some (ahem) issues we had one of the days. We'll see! I hope it's not an artificial rise due to steroids.

    pomelo / 5129 posts

    @Crystal: I didn't get any sort of rise when I was on the steroids, so hopefully you're good!

    @Crystal: Yay for solid crosshairs, and for temp rise, and for good timing!

    You guys I am getting deja vu. The cycle a few months back when I got KU, I took a wondfo HPT that was negative, then when I looked at it twenty minutes later it looked positive. The next day I confirmed with a digital and I was definitely pregnant. Well this morning I peed on a wondfo and it was negative, then I looked at it a long while later (like way outside the window) and it looks really positive. Pink, not gray at all. I wish I had kept the urine so I could test it with a FRER now. (Yeah, nothing weird about that, keeping little cups of pee sitting around like Howard Hughes...) I'm going to try testing again in a few hours, but won't be able to test again after that until Sunday night. Ugh, these stupid little sticks drive me crazy.

    @PawPrints: Ahhhh! Omg I had a good feeling for you and have been stalking! It sounds like you are pregnant to me. FRER will settle it better than anything else! FX!

    I had the weirdest conversation with DH last night. We were talking about TTC, and my July cycle, we BOTH had the feeling that this was the one. There were a number of weird things- AF started my first official day of unemployment (DH has been saying as soon as I quit my job), the acupuncture, and after BD 2 days before I thought I was going to O, I had this strong feeling that we had made a baby. I hadn't said anything to DH about it. He is big into his gut and feeling energy and it is almost always accurate. He said he felt this new positive energy around me, and that he had a really strong feeling after BD that we had made a baby, but didn't want to tell me any of it because he didn't want to get my hopes up. I asked when he had that feeling, and it was the same time I had. And I NEVER bleed this early or have an anovulatory cycle. DH also told me that he journaled that while we officially don't know, he just KNOWS that I am pregnant. It's totally weird, and making me second guess the bleeding I had. It was a little lighter than most periods, but heavier than I would expect implantation bleeding to be. We are both really thrown, and he is reluctant to avoid this month because of all these weird things that we can only explain by God. He was also much more understanding and supportive of my conference. We are leaning toward NTNP and if I do get pregnant, to trust God and try to make the conference but would see where things are. I might temp the next couple days to confirm this was AF. If this was implantation bleeding, it would still only be 10DPO and possibly too early.

    Now everyone probably thinks I am crazy.

    @AmeliaBedilia: Those sound like very good signs. FX it's implantation bleeding.

    @AmeliaBedilia: I don't think you are crazy. My gut instinct is my greatest parenting tool. FWIW, I also don't think you should TTA the next couple of months... if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. Everything else will fall into place. (I take this to heart, too: I have no business TTC in my current job search situation, but I have to believe that everything will work out the way it is supposed to...)

    @PawPrints: Thanks. The logical part of me says it is too heavy for implantation bleeding. I am hoping we both get our BFPs!

  12. MaryM

    pomelo / 5129 posts

    @AmeliaBedilia: For what it's worth, when I got my last BFP (and we weren't even trying) I told DH when he got home from work.

    At work that day, he told his coworkers he thought I was pregnant.

    I think men can have some intuition too!

    @MaryM: and @AmeliaBedilia: Men are funny. The last couple of days, I have been having a lot of stomach pain (it's gone now, thankfully!) - and when I was explaining it my husband, he said, "Is that because you are pregnant?" Ah, no, honey, that would be pretty much impossible this month (bad timing + bad side), but thanks!

    @PawPrints: ooh sounds so promising! Keep us posted! Why can't you test until Sunday otherwise? Fwiw, my bfps were both with non-fmu, so you never know.

    @AmeliaBedilia: trust your gut! What a great story if you turn out to be KU! Fx for you!

    @PawPrints: OMG congrats!

    @septca: You're probably right. I hope DH and my gut intuition is correct. I am leaning against avoiding, because in 10 years, the conference won't matter much but our child (who hopefully exists) will.

    @MamaCate: It would be a great story, but I have had so many great story months. I really thought the jury duty story was going to play out- like all 4 times! Though it would be so cool that DH and I both knew we made a baby at the same time.

    @Boopers: LOL- no, it's nice to have people who care. And I LOVE your story (mainly because it's almost exactly mine with a good ending). I told DH the other day- OMG, there's a woman who is just like me, tried the same number of cycles and everything and then a few hours later had her BFP. Then I realized that your BFP was on cycle 17, and we just started cycle 17 if I'm not KU. So maybe even if it was AF and stupid anovulatory cycle that this is the cycle!

    @MrsMcD: Thanks!

    If I am pregnant, I will be the biggest idiot because the bleeding totally convinced me that it is AF. I had to change my cup every few hours on day 2. Granted, day 1,3, and 4 were super light. But I will be a PREGNANT idiot.

    DH and I went to a little concert in the park below our house last night. Our friends brought their cute little kids. DH held their awesome baby boy almost the whole time. He took the little boy all over the park as he visited and said hi to other people we know. It melted my heart. I hope we have a little one of our own soon for him to parade around like that!!

    @AmeliaBedilia: aw you're so sweet! It is always helpful when someone has a similar story! I remember a few months ago the both of us posting in the 6+ plus board about our stressful jobs!!

    I hope your DH's intuition is right! I told my mom the day we found out. She had just been in town visiting us and she said "I had a feeling you were pregnant! I looked at your and for some reason just thought you were pregnant!" When she was in town I didn't know about the BFP yet. She has had strong intuitions in the past about things that have been true.

    Also, don't feel badly about your reaction! Cycle 16 was shorter than normal and had 3 days of spotting before AF came and I bawled like a baby because I was at my wit's end and so frustrated! I was all set to have an HSG on cycle 18 and we were seeing a urologist for DH.

    I am going to be sending really good thoughts and vibes your way!

    Whoa! Busy & exciting Friday, already!
    @PawPrints: congrats!! What an awesome way to start off a weekend trip!!
    @AmeliaBedilia: FX you are pregnant already! Then you won't have to worry about what actions to take (or not) around your work conference.
    @MrsMcD: I absolutely MELT watching my DH with kids & babies & see what an awesome dad he's gonna be to our baby(ies) someday!

    @PawPrints: So wonderful and so happy for you! Congrats!!

    I finally called to switch OB's yesterday. I'm so happy I did. The receptionist was even awesome. I told her that we had been trying for 11m with one miscarriage in there and she immediately said that she'd set me up with one of the Drs to discuss infertility....just like that. No questions. No begging and wishing. So simple. I don't go until 8/17...but I'm just so happy it's even a blip on the radar.
    Unfortunately, I've been using OPK's for the past week and haven't gotten anything even close to a + yet, so I'm thinking I might not O this month.

    Also, I called today to make our first appt for marriage counseling....haven't told anyone else that I know that. Not really sure how to feel about it, but hoping for the best.

    @pawprints: YAYYYYY!!! Congrats lady!

    Hoping we finish off the month of July strong and full of BFPs!! There is no one on deck to POAS tomorrow so I guess I'll man up and take the job. I mean, 10dpo is legit, right? I'm still having ZERO symptoms. No cramps, no NOTHING. Maybe that's good since in previous months I'm constantly thinking THIS IS THE MONTH and have every symptom in the book! Anyway, I would LOVE to keep up the momentum in here!

    @keppa: DH and I went to Christian counseling at our church and it literally saved our marriage. That was about 2 years ago. Having the chance to sit and share feelings in a safe environment and learn tools for how to effectively communicate was the best thing we ever did for our relationship. I am a huge advocate of counseling. Our marriage has a sweetness and deeper commitment to it that we didn't have before How long have y'all been married?
