Zero so far for both kids (1 & 3). Now please excuse my while I go knock on wood!!!

Blake's having his 2nd right now. Alice hasn't had any. They are 11 months.

Before the age of 2, none...my son was sick once in that period.

Afte the age of two, he got so many colds, which were the first step in an ear infection for him...I think we're up to 6.

6yr old - 2

4 yr old - 0

1 for my 18 month old.

My niece is not yet 5 years old and has had so many that she's gone through 3 (or 4?!?) sets of tubes already.

My LO is 2. She's had at least 8 or 9, and she just had tubes put in a few months ago.

1.5. We saw a walk in clinic doctor once who said she had one but 2 days later our ped said she didn't see one so I don't count that one.

3 that we know of. Two of them were a double ear infection that landed us in the ER because of really high spiking fevers, and the other one we didn't even know about--we'd taken him to the pedi for a lingering seal cough and she told us. He's never complained about ear pain or anything.

Neither one has had ear infections. They are 4 and 2.

I think 5 or 6. But the last 2 she showed no signs of them and her ear drum burst. So she got tubes at 21 months. Got another infection two weeks after but the drops cleared it up right away.

Hmmm, 6-8 infections (most before tubes were double, only had 2 since and they were easy to treat and single)

0 and 0.

Neither for either child thankfully!

DS is 10 months and had 5 ear infections by 8.5 months old (or possibly one ear infection that lasted for 2.5 months). He had ear tubes put in about 6 weeks ago and things seem to be going much better.

4 yr old - zero
27 month old - zero

@T-Mom: SO jealous that your tubes lasted so long. My daughter got her tubes at 10 months. She's not even 2.5 and both tubes have fallen out and we are back to persistent infections and off to see the ENT next week to consider a second set.
