DS: 2.5 and none so far
DD: almost 6 months and none so far -
@Mamasig: Same here. We had a check up in early March and at that point the right tube was still in place. By the end of March the tube was out and the ear was ALREADY infected. The left tube fell out last year and we dealt with a nasty ongoing infection in that one at the beginning of the year. My daughter has been on antibiotics half the days of the year so far

I think wewere up to 8 last winter/spring so our doctor theorized that it was one that never went away. It's the only reason we hired a nanny!

she's only had 3 that we know of! two were back to back, though

No LO if my own yet, but as a kid I had somewhere between 1 and 3 every year between about 18mos and 12 years. I've had another 3-4 over the next 20 years.

Knock on wood! The twins are 2 and they've never had one.
