Just a shit ton of supplements for my old eggs which resulted in four pregnancies, all with problems. I could have kept trying and going through loss after loss in the hopes of catching a good egg. The only thing that would possibly work for me is IVF with PGD and I wasn't willing to go there...

It was almost 8 years ago so it's hard to remember all the pills but I was on metformin for several months to help regulate my PCOS. Then we moved to clomid for two cycles, then 4 more cycles of injectable meds with a trigger shot. All were unsuccessful. Then over a year later I got pregnant without interventions.

Started working with an RE in 2013.
-3 cycles Clomid + low-dose injectables + IUI = all BFNs

Tried a variety of vitamins, teas, supplements, meditations, etc.Never seen a BFP, 22 months in, diagnosed PCOS November 2013, treated w/ Met and now considered unexplained IF. Probably moving forward with IVF soon.

RE #1 Unexplained Diagnosis
-2 cancelled IUI with Femera- possible cyst or no sample provided
-3 IUI with Femera and Trigger shot- RE#2: Mild Insulin Resistant PCOS & DOR
3 IUI with metformin, dexamethasone, Femera and trigger-
IVF- Did ER in Oct 2014 (no fresh transfer per protocol). Meds for ER: dexamethasone, metformin, menopur, follistim, ganirelix, trigger shot. Currently waiting for the FET in Jan 2015. Meds: delestrogen, estrace, progesterone in oil, medrolOther notes: started TTC at 28 (DH is 29). DH has severe asthma and was worried about some of the meds he takes affecting our fertility. At 6 months of TTC I asked OB/Gyn about it. She referred us to a Fertiltiy clinic to get a SA.
DH SA showed abnormal morphology (4%) but subsequent Sperm samples for IUIs were better.I've done fertility accupunture for the past 2 years.
Oh, never been pregnant (never seen a BFP)
I have done 2 HSG and 2 SHG. All were clear.
At the ER; 12 eggs were retrieved, 10 mature, 8 fertilized, 7 made it to the freezer.

I first went through all of the standard testing. I did the following in chronological order:
acupuncture for a few months
ancient Mayan massage w/midwife
1 cycle of comid (my lining thinned way out)
3 cycles of femara
1 cycle of follistim + TI
1 cycle of follistim + IUI
laparoscopy for diagnosis and removal of endometriosis
1 cycle of bumped up dosage of follistim + IUI = BFP
)
