Anyone have anything good on their summer bucket list?
I am definitely wanting to hit up some local lake beaches, hike some easy trails, and go to a drive in movie!

We don't make an official bucket list but here are some of the things we plan to do this summer:
Beach/lake 1-4 times a week
Mini golf
Picnics (mix of pack our own and food trucks)
Tie Dye shirts
Hiking/exploring - mostly short easy ones
Kite flying
Going for ice cream
Local amusement/water park
Local fair
Train rides on local narrow gauge
Bowling - we signed up for kids bowl free this year!

I'm due with baby #2 in a month, so we are keeping is close to home and more simple that previous years but here's ours:
-local splash pads and pool
-local beach
-picnic
-fly kite
-play on our deck with water table, pool, and sprinkler
-go to aquarium
-go to children's museum
-camping (already done- we got in a few camping trips this spring before baby!)

I'm also pregnant with baby #2, so keeping it close to home/low covid risk, but we're lucky enough to live in a place where there is lots to do outside:
-Go to the zoo (check!) (definitely her highlight so far)
-BBQ and swimming at Nana and Opa's with cousins on DH's side (check, but probably will happen again)
-Major swing set expansion project (big girl slide, climbing wall, trapeze)
-Long weekend at the (far away) lake with my extended family
-Long weekend in Boston for the children's museum and aquarium (if vaccine is approved for kiddos)
-Food truck picnic dinners by the "big, happy" lake (close to our house)
-Beach days at the nearby lake
-Climb a mountain
-Swim under a waterfall
-(Try to) find a moose
-Labor day week/weekend trip to the ocean (either ME or CT, not decided yet)

I love the things my six year old puts on his summer bucket list. Last year he put "drink water." Very great goal. Haha! We will do a week-long trip, some putt putt, he wants to go to an arcade, some of the cheap summer movies that many theaters show for kids, lots of time at the splash pad and park, reading goals for each kid and weekly library time...excited for it!

@togetherthroughlife: That's so cute!
Our bucket list includes
- mini golf with DS
- strawberry picking
- trips to the neighborhood pool and beach
- making ice cream
- the zoo
- possibly the aquarium if DD can get vaxxed
- picnic at the botanic gardens
- local amusement park for DS's 9th birthday
And then we're heading to Yellowstone at the start of August, so that should hopefully be really fun.
